How's Test Drive Unlimited 2? I've wanted to play the game for the longest, but every time it goes on sale I always get too tight on money.
It's pretty fun. You need an atari account to play it and the website is hell to get through. It takes ages to set -up but it has some decent mods. if you do get it have some music up since the in-game radio is awful.

Unironically the worst driving physics I've ever felt, the first game has much better driving physics, they are arcadey but fun. In TDU2 the story is cringey as fuck and all the cars drive exactly the same, they all just feel like you're moving a camera around instead of a car.

i cant in good faith recommend fm7 for anywhere near full price but you get a little more with fm7 with the upgrading and liveries

FM7. I almost bought GT Sport but since it didn't actually come with the console decided not to buy it. At least with FM7 I could run it on my computer at the caveat of upgrading to Windows 10. Probably going to end up buying something like MGSV if I can't think of anything better to buy.

From what I understand it crashes all the time in online races on PC and I've had it crash when resuming sessions and editing liveries on my xbone.
Also liveries don't fucking work half the time, have fun staring at your opponents' bland-ass cars while they can't see your (lack of) taste
