BBR Super 200 kit is what I'm aiming for at some point. More than enough power for a 2400lb car, with naturally aspirated responsiveness.

You can get it up to 200-210 with minimal investment (flash, header, midpipe, cam). Past that you have to ruin the character of the car with tarbo. The thing is, the car is fast enough stock. Once you get to a certain speed, it's trivial to maintain that speed if you're not a shit driver. The best investment to make in suspension, and even there you're looking at minimal gainz after you swap the front sway.
If you're just looking for straight line speed, get a fucking Camaro SS 1LE.

Not much. Even for the cheaper old miatas, any decent power (turbo kit, engine swap) is at the very least 3k all in. That's in a straight line though. If you want to be fast around the twisties, some good coilovers are around 1k and you can spend the rest on some stiffet antiroll bars, and a good set of semi-slick tyres

Handling upgrades are obviously the first to be done, underbody braces, tower brace, better tires, maybe lighter/wider wheels, etc. Obvious.
All that does add a bit of weight. I want to balance it out with some engine upgrades as well. Just want to know whats out there before I buy the MD in the spring.
