smons uses your current spr when you call then to calculate their skill mods but they also use your current matk as fuel (+ the riding skill, of course). Best scenario is a skull smasher+sage wall to summon then switch to regard horn staff

Skill that lowers the cooldown on all your party member's skills. Basically you just get a party with 2 Chronomancers and your 1 DPS that wasted a fuckload of time and money has 0 cooldowns and just spam their strongest skills.
