I did uni unrelated to banking/finance. My tips would be don't be picky, I struggled to find a job and I know how hard it can be sometimes. Just get your foot in the door somewhere and work your way up.
This job isn't what I wanted, but I couldn't be happier at the moment, and I'm happy to progress further if there's room. Not to mention the $$$. Just get a job, learn and get good at it and the doors will open up

Sure, it's all credit card debt. I made a lot of money with BTC during some of the previous runs and my money management skills went to shit as a result. Was spending tons of money, rented a penthouse in 2 cities, bought a new car, bought tons of other shit. Decided one day that I was going to start a production company and invest ungodly amounts of money into a gangster's rap career. Eventually spent all of my money on the company and used my obscene credit limit to try to "save it" even though deep down I think I knew it was over. Fortunately credit card debt gets sold off after ~6 months for pennies on the dollar, so I have a lawyer currently negotiating to settle it all for about 10% of the principal.

Since then I've pulled my head out of my ass and the entire experience has really grounded me. Ready to save and invest wisely and get my life back together.

Regadless, In my portfolio atm, I'm up about 1.5k. I've invested in TLS, A2M, HSO, TPM for my 'safe shares', which bring just under 1k of divideds each year.

I've also bought into a bunch of meme stocks, KAI, RMX, GGG, the usual Veeky Forums shit. Currently down a ton on MLS, planning to average down and sell as soon as I can break even. I've learnt a lot since I started trading in my own name late last year, but I have a long way to go.
