I kinda like retro gauges but I see those are replaced with another $40 chink tablet on production model.

I'd expect at least a custom OLED screen that's moulded to the shape of the dash instead of literally a shitty tablet with inch wide corners.

early 00's had some pretty good designs.
another example is e60 m5 which is a 2003 design too

both still look fresh because both were the first main culprits of the current design trends

Another generation of Mercs i have no interest in. It doesn't even look German to me.

Nowadays the only good looking merc is the S coupe. And the front is still meh.

Not a fan of either of them desu, the Mercs look weird in person but I like where BMW went with that design, def got better over time.

Looks pretty good for a modern car, i like the clean lines. Im glad theres still brands appreciating good simple design instead of slapping 50 vents and plastic parts on it.

A lost of people say that but they really aren't all that bad. Just follow the steps properly and use the right tools. Most of the time people use hex sockets instead of torx sockets and end up stripping the fuck out of the bolts

I think of these mercs as a bar of soap in a public toilet, everyone keeps rubbing themselves on the edges and they keep getting worn down, so the car looks more and more like a semicircle with each reiteration.
