>CHOOSING A CHRYSTLER 200 IN ITALIAN CLOTHES AS THE CAR OF THE YEAR

out of all the cars made this is the car they settled on?

what kinda cvck do you have to be to think this thing is the car of the year

mad krautcuck/weeb/burger detected

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

imagine how boring and compromise laiden the individual who thought this thing was the car of the year must be

nice damage control

Reminder that MotorTrends 2015 car of the year was VW Golf

HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS

FUCK

>best ride in class
>best steering in class
>almost the best at being also comfortable
>top tier Quadrifoglio trim
>Ferrari engine
>one of the top 10 winners of wardsauto best interiors 2017 edition
>overall very good performer from the base model up to the sports trim
>starts from under 40k
>best cost/equipment ratio

Gee I don't know

Pastaniggers btfo

>best in class steering
According to Chris Harris the m3 steering is better.
You forgot to add:
>Car is falling apart since the day of delivery

suck it up, weeaboo faggots

...

Well, Golf is actually decent car.
>inb4 muh paid shit

Some other recent winners:

2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV
2016 Chevrolet Camaro
2015 Volkswagen Golf
2014 Cadillac CTS
2013 Tesla Model S
2012 Volkswagen Passat
2011 Chevrolet Volt

Lmao about as credible as jd power

That pic also triggers KIASHILLS.

>According to Chris Harris

AYY LMAO

The same guy who said he'd buy a Giulia rather than an M3.

Friendly reminder that even the base Giulia is better than the 3 Series, and when I say base I MEAN it because the Alfa Romeo doesn't require an M package, a "sports variable steering" and other shit to be able to be enjoyable.

Bmw steerings are rubbish since at least 5 years.

why are people so butthurt if it's meaningless?

MotorTrend has a hard on for Chevy. They are so over-represented.

REBORN FROM ASHES ALFA ROMEO

Thats the same rank that placed the 360hp c43 amg and rs5 ahead of the M3/M4
Bur keep believing """objective""" paid fca reviews if it makes you feel better

True

Yup
>2013 Tesla Model S
Really? picrelated
>2012 Volkswagen Passat
I sorta agree
>2011 Chevrolet Volt
Yup

Chris Harris preferred the M3 and C63 in his initial test drive but suddently shilled for the Giulia hard in the next review for some reason.
Usually chris gives some of the most unbiased opinions but only sometimes.

That's the same thing I'm wondering about.

If Alfa Romeo is so insignificant why there are so many butthurt people?

>a decent review about an FCA product means paid review
>this is what BMW faggots believe

You called Chris "monkey" Harris but, did you know that in the review of the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the one filmed for the Top Gear magazine, he criticized the fuel tank - among other things - saying it was too tiny while coincidentally omitting saying that the M3 had the SAME size on its fuel tank.

Hi Alfa paid shills

>thread theme compilation

>>best ride in class
What is an M3
>>best steering in class
What is an M3
>>almost the best at being also comfortable
So, the M3 then
>>top tier Quadrifoglio trim
So you spend loads of money on a car that will depreciate like fuck and are thankful it has the same kit as every other car? Wonderful.
>>Ferrari engine
What Ferraris was it used in again?
>>one of the top 10 winners of wardsauto best interiors 2017 edition
Top 10 of some random publications subjective test because it has options on the website that are either a cost option, or no one will ever choose? Great.
>>overall very good performer from the base model up to the sports trim
Maybe if we are talking about the mid 2000s equivalents, but no one is buying them
>>starts from under 40k
what is depreciation
>>best cost/equipment ratio
what is depreciation. there is literally nothing good about them other than "oh its Italian" which translates as it will break all the time, give sub par performance, depreciate, but hey it has SOUL right?

>review
I'm not talking about a review i'm talking about these meme ranks

I don't see anything wrong UNLESS these ranking are specifically based on performance and driving feel because I can't believe that Audi does better than Bmw and Lexus.

>that pic
Holy shit so there was one M3 with a ratrlttling windshield due to an earlier windshield replacement but alfa shills seriously try to use this as ""evidence"" that BMWs are just as horrible pieces of shit as Alfas are?

Meanwhile, in Europe...

The only trim that matters is like 85k

Eat shit if you think I'm paying that for a goddamn chrysler.

Pajeets BTFO

I can agree with the base model list but there is this other performance car ranking which places the RS5 and the 360hp C43 AMG ahead of the current M3 and M4.
That's why those ranks are meaningless but italishills try and use it as actual evidence lmfao.

Actually that picture was used to btfo kia shills but it backfired

>85k

You wish.

The Quadrifoglio starts from $73.500.

Carbon brakes: $8000
Some other extra shit: at least $5000

>multijet airliner

TOP KEK

The fucking trim tested in the motor trend article is $85,495

The absolute state of Veeky Forums in 2017 fuck I hate you people

It's not mandatory to have the car full optional you dipshit.

Also try to do the same with an M3, build it with the same optionals as the Giulia and see for yourself the final cost.

You too

Guess which one isn't a chrysler at the end

Is BMW dead yet?

>drives on the right
>RHD car
boy you so crazy

Keep crying faggot.

Dem wheels doe

All you ever need on the M3 is Competifion Package.
And even with Comp. Pack the M3 is $2k cheaper than the base Giulia.

It'$ a very rigorou$ and $tre$$ful te$t on the vehicle that i$ very hard for other$ to pa$$

You also need the DKG gearbox which is $2900

The fact that the 2011 M3 is still called as the main competitor for every new sports sedan that is getting released in 2017 already tells us how the M3 is still the segment leader.
According to reviews not even the Giulia or C63S can beat the old F80 on track despite the massive 70 horsepower disadvantage.
BTW the next gen M3 will be introduced in 2018 and it will btfo everything again.

M3 with CP and DCT costs $72.100 if you remove extended leather and stick with alcantara which is cheaper than base Giulia Q
You dont "need" dct anyway bc manual is more fun

Chevy is killin it lately doe
So is GMC and Cadillac

Why can't you un-American fucks recognize that your ricer and Euro shit isn't the only game in town any more? Why is it so hard for you to love your country? liberal faggots

Calm down there nibba. Al three of those brands went to shit for a good while so it's understandable.

>Why is it so hard for you to love your country?
Imagine thinking fore-chann is predominantly made up of americans.

Maybe because we aren't americans?

Because I'm older than 16 and remember when every domestic brand was a steaming shitpile bar a few exceptions.

>talk like a nigger
>act like a nigger
>calls others libs as an insult

>alfa shill unironically thinks you need to opt for the objectively worse transmission when there is a better option available for cheaper

can't make this shit up

inb4
>benchracing
>hurrrrr my little soyboi legs get tired in traffic!!!!!!111!!!!!!!

I know, I'm sorry I got defensive

Things were bad in the 90's man

Real bad

Remember Saturn

i would never buy a performance car from an American manufacturer because they look bland and uninteresting also their interiors are shit the only good American cars are Jeeps and they're Italian now

>opinions promoted as the universal truth

Ok.

>FCA "quality"

The qudrifoglio is $1,511 per month for a 36 month lease. You can get a CTS-V for $850.

CTS V is also way faster on track
Pastaniggers btfo

that wood looks horrible even lincoln and cadillac have better wood

>automatics are inferior to manual transmissions is an opinion

you can t be this retarded can you ?

> what ferraris was it used in again
NONE ,cause IT WAS MADE ONLY FOR ALFA ROMEO BY FERRARI
>MUH M3
m3 sucks , gets beaten at the ring and in every other circuit by the QV , i d rather buy an M2

>Chevy is killin it lately doe
So is GMC and Cadillac

Killing what exactly? German manufacturers are steaming ahead to sales records after sales records.

American cars are hardly scraping the "tier 2 luxury" category

>IT WAS MADE ONLY FOR ALFA ROMEO BY FERRARI
Wrong. The Engine is not made by Ferrari. It does not have a single Ferrari manufactured part on it either.

M3 CP is faster on pretty much every track.
youtube.com/watch?v=xJZAKvReRvQ&app=desktop
It was even slower on Motor Trends Giulia ignition episode, but MT are still shilling the alfa hard.
The fact that the giulia is 20 seconds faster on the Ring but slower on every other track shows how BS the ring time is.

>5500 RPM redline
I-It's a diesel, right?

I mean the Giulia was slower on the ignition ep.
youtube.com/watch?v=T0wg4CdATJk&app=desktop

R O B B E D

Has Road and Track even managed to get more than one consecutive lap out of the Quadrifoglio without it throwing codes and going into limp mode? Don't think they have.

Glad that ugly pos didnt win

They used the hybrid version during testing. Even after every fucking review already said the V8 made the car. MT is trash.

the base one has the worst base wheels ever

How did they make this new, RWD, high-performance Alfa look so much worse than the old, FWD, tarted-up-Fiat ones?

They didn't.

I'd consider buying a Quadrifoglio if the reliability wasn't so shit.
I ended up buying a Lexus GS F and I've never been more sure of a car purchase. Feels good knowing that the odds of breaking down are ridiculously low.

>I wanted a D segment sedan but I ended up with an E segment sedan

100% reasonable

F

F to pay respects because RIP alfa giulia.

>misaligned rear lights

KEK, is this famous street shitters quality?

>italinigger talking about build quality
LMAO

>some random Pajeet or Nigel thinking Jaguar is relevant, ever

wardsauto.com/interiors/2017-wards-10-best-interiors-winners#slide-0-field_images-1847901

>b-but muh interior
Still slower than the Jag

>attack the Giulia making an assumption based on quality
>ignores the truth and still attacks based on personal assumptions

Stay mad street shitter

Interior design has nothing to do with the cars overall build quality such as panel gaps or durability dumb italinigger.

Did the Giulia kill BMW yet? I know that's what Veeky Forums predicted. Disregard they thought that about the Cadillac ST-D too

Cadillac std, alfa quadrifaglio, cshittythree AMG, audi rshit 5, there have been plenty so called ''BMW killers'' but the M3/4 is still the car that every new sports sedan is being compared to by default.
M3/M4 still are the bestsellers, you can't beat BMW at their own game.
it's nice that the competition is catching up though, it means BMW will step their game up even more and the next gen 2018 M3 will be great.

I think it looks great on the center console but the trim around the door handle is awful

>alcantara
that shit wears out and looks like shit within a year. If I ever get the cash for a Carrera GTS I'm paying the extra to get it replaced with the standard leather

>looks like shit within a year
My 2002 BMW 5 series alcantara still looks and feels great.
But I did have a 1999 Audi with badly worn alcantara

See the BMW Giulia once, laughed my ass off, instead my hometown it's plenty of BMW Tipo and some other same car re-branded god only knows how many fucking times and then everything else is a Dacia Pandero whom are replacing all the Fiat Panda 750

>gipsy spotted
