I went over this last thread, but Marie worked because the Squid Sisters felt like two friends doing a bit, and they stayed conistant. Marina suddenly changed personality but Pearl stayed the same, so her snark came out of nowhere and Pearl didn't really feel like she was playing along with the bit. Plus unlike the Squid Sisters, this is a total flip of personality from the japanese version.

I participated in the splatfest even though I've never played Splatoon before. Picked up roller, got the hang of it and ended up sneaking around and running over dumb cunts for fun. It was a great game and I'm definitely going to buy it.
