It has a smidge better gunhandling, but the obj 140 with the proposed buffs to the turret beats it in every other category.

The slightly better speed/depression/handling are only relevant in clanwars. T-62A is a better pub tank since it doesn't constantly burn/get ammoracked from the front.

love that HESH, it's a true equalizer, I once consistently used it to ben the turret of an e100 from the side as it engaged another tier 9 medium at close range, killing it in around 4 shots

Because a lot of tier 10 tanks give very minor improvements if at all on their tier 9 counterparts, but everything is far more dependent on you doing well and costs are considerably higher.

There's one GuP tank on console and it's garbage because it's just a reskinned PansyWagon IV that doesn't even come with a special crew. You just get some German bloke.

I said nothing of the sort. A reskinned GuP tank would literally only be appealing to fans of the anime whereas the VC tanks have broader appeal because they aren't just reskins. People who have never played or heard of VC might still want to play them because they get a whole new tank instead of just some shit from the tech tree with a gay paintcoat.
