Go to Craigslist and find the best car under $2000 in your area. Only clean title. Obviously...

So its a Starion , might be a fun car for the price

If it's the pic you included, it's a Dodge Daytona

Listen Veeky Forums, I need your opinion. I am bent on this being a potential scam, or one that will develop because of the supposed buyer.

Do you think it is a good idea to sell it to a guy who works at a dealership?

You see, I am selling my 3rd generation firebird (base model) that is all matching numbers, and although it is a project, it has a lot of potential. I love this car, but I am moving, and need the money. I can't sell it for a high price because of a vibration problem that I've narrowed down to two things. Anyway, apparently a guy who works at a local Chevy Dealership is interested, and wants me to bring it in so they can have a look at it. It has little to no rust because the previous owners took really good care of it, but over the last few years it got some outer body rust. It has some other problems, but again, this particular car has a lot of potential if in the right hands.

Here is my post by the way. Please, no spam: slo.craigslist.org/cto/d/1986-red-pontiac-firebird-all/6407404213.html

I'm curious, why did you hide the license plate? I see a lot of people doing that. Hundreds if not thousands of people get a shot of your plates every time you drive.

So then scammers, or potentially dangerous people that are on craigslist won't try to identify the plates with the owner, and then find out their address. Plus, my car doesn't have an alarm system, so anyone who can even figure out the area can try something. Call me paranoid, but I have take a few extra precautions that make me feel that much better. Doesn't help that I have to park it on the side of the street.

So a scam.

>falling for hte le divorce maymay
>falling for "duhh ignorant womans and da car!!!"

Don't you need government or law enforcement type privileges to look up people's plate info? I doubt Jamal has those connections.

Needs a "break" line but technically it runs:

That would make sense. However, they being dishonest with another potential customer is what I am most worried about.

Moving on, someone could recognize the area, and SLO is a small town. It could be bad news for me if I allow too many details in the pictures posted.
