It's because with BDC being weaved in with the standard movement options and normals that with said movement are easy to make whiff the game revolves around whiff punishing.

T4 tried to remove BDC/KBD but then a big issue happened (asides from the stage bullshit). Turns out that with normal non-KBD movement characters with dominating normals and strings dominated hardcore with like Jin because with the tekken movements option sans KBD were easy to lockdown with said normals.

they probably can't believe it's getting more considering it's trash when compared to everything else involved

It's a 2D fighting game with 3D graphics, it's street fighter with a bit more focus on combos (specifically involving supers) and some characters that are kinda weird
