Yeah, if you play as Shogunate you make Qing release Korea and then annex as much as you can. It's not easy because they'll just invade with their navy but micromanagment can really do it. It's a huge plus to have Korea as states early on.

1. I invaded Egypt after the crisis event.
2. I called Prussia in.
3. Prussia became war leader.
4. I occupied Cairo
5. Prussia enforced "Make Puppet" CB and I get those borders.
6. A year later I get "Egyptian surrender and annex them and it's fixed.

This isn't to start shit, as it all fixed itself anyway, I just want to know what could have caused it. As you can see from pic attached it wasn't to do with occupation as I got parts of Jordan I didn't occupy and lost parts of Syria I did occupy.

That's a straight out lie. The AI can't enforce your make puppet CB because the AI can't enforce that for you. They get free people CB and they enforce it during the crisis.
