The difference is that honda and toyota have always made good solid cars, something which the koreans have never been able to do.

Power is a function of torque and rpm, so with low torque you can still make power by letting the engine rev much higher.

This, there’s a reason why the bmw costs more. All around build quality is much better not to mention they are tuned for handling and driving pleasure.
