Stupid birb couldn't hit me worth a shit Even its final +50 stress aoe missed
Jaxon Hernandez
...
Adrian Powell
I dont know why but yawp just sounds silly to me. Nevertheless this game definitely taught me a lot of english words I would never known otherwise. My favorite is Prognostication.
Austin Fisher
>two Aunties >not destroying the nest Fucking madman
Easton Thompson
Once I got past 300k I found that I don't care for the money anymore Only the heirlooms are valuable
Kevin Flores
I think his team was simply based around stacking mad dodge on the whole team whilst HM and MAA guard the aunties, just to finish the mission without getting super-triggered by the shreiker.
Christopher Clark
Any drawfriends who can make a Flagellant version of this?
Dylan Perez
Friendly reminder that the Antiquarian bonus loot only appears if you have selected the Antiquarian when you loot things. Just having her in your party isn't enough, she has to be the one looting for the artifacts to appear.
Michael Thompson
>ha ha, i stacked 8 bleed per turn on you ha ha >oh shit you get to act again before you die, i wish i was a bounty hunter and had just killed you this round
Parker Cooper
Caltrops animation is trash, give me back my hook and slice animation
Evan Williams
How do I prepare
John Ramirez
Bring a MAA with guard, bring accuracy trinkets, ALL SHOVELS
Luis King
Send your A team, your best men, with the most expensive trinkets. Don't bring shovels, you won't need them.
Logan Roberts
>bring shovels >don't bring shovels guys pls
Adrian Wood
ALL SHOVELS
Luke Jenkins
>throw caltrops at a mosquito >it hurts them
David Reed
Maybe he threw at them directly, and not under them.
Brody Stewart
Why is Plague Doctor so moe?
Anthony Scott
I need a picture of this.
Adam Morgan
the second guy is pretty obviously trying to get your party wiped as badly as possible
you need many shovels
Anthony Wood
>GR is Craving >feed her some blood >I AM THE BLOOD GOD! >Flashing Daggers crits for 60 total
Michael Sanchez
That was pretty fun.
Adam Powell
Vvulf's men are so snazzy.
Tyler Peterson
Why would they make an enemy that can deal 50 stress damage on each of two moves per round? Pls don't tell me I'm gonna have to fight 2 more of these
John Foster
Yo, I can't see shit with that .jpg. Please up the actual .png sprite.
Jace Gray
Forgot the pic
Jace Morgan
>he didnt bring the trinkets
Zachary Howard
God that was intense fight. My Flagellant was killed on first turn (Maws of Life crit-->deathdoor-->deathblow), Vestal succumbed to blight at the end. I seriously considered retreating several times but in the end rest of my mutilated squad emerged victorious.
Adrian Watson
Why didn't you bring the talisman of the flame you ABSOLUTE MADMAN
Adrian Cook
so i just bought the game and cant beat my first real dungeon, all my troops are really stressed and i have no money should i just push and push until i get one cleared, even if it kills everyone in the progress and worry about the stress when i have some survivors?
Ethan Turner
So, the only way to remove the "town is abuzz" event is to complete the first courtyard mission, right? And after that, I'm gonna have to deal with the spreading curse, is that correct?
Dylan Myers
Always kill the enemy backrow first, it's usually where all the stress dealer are. Focus one enemy at a time, only use aoe attacks if you can kill a target and injure the others. Stun and kill instead of healing. Use camping skills that heal stress. When you're very early in the game it's best to dismiss afflicted heroes and recruit fresh ones
Chase Hall
>90% to hit >misses >gets hit by stressful incantation >turns irrational WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
Luis Lewis
How does PD/GR/Abo/BH sound for DD3? Will muh superior deepee-uss and loads of campfires make up for not really having a healer?
Thomas Taylor
Post partycomps for the different areas/scenarios!
Gabriel Hughes
>When you're very early in the game it's best to dismiss afflicted heroes and recruit fresh ones
damn i didnt realize this, thanks
Aiden Bennett
Wait what, how does the talisman of flame work? I'm still getting stress damage and dealing damage myself.
Ian Watson
>from skill Revelation
Christian Perez
>MaA with Old Unit Standard + Rampart Shield >use Rampart against Shambler on turn 1 >CRIT >Stun resisted How the fuck? Champ Shambler has 145% Stun Resist and Rampart 5 has 140% Stun chance before trinkets, which total give him +65% Stun chance.
Eli Richardson
> go for champion level drowned crew > bring occultist with the + move chance incense and generic move chance trinket > boost his speed with campfire skills > pull the crew forward in the first move of the game so the anchorman gets stuck for the entire fight > laugh my way to victory
shame the trophy for that fight is pretty lame.
Carter Nguyen
How's the enemy variety in this game?
Dominic Clark
>65% Stun chance. >35% no stun There's your answer.
Ryder Gray
Wait, does the Anchorman just pass turns if the crew *blocks his path*?
Juan Adams
Only protects you vs an specific attack of some enemies of the second expedition to the darkest dungeon, is the gimmik of that dungeon 1 of your 4 heroes is left vulnerable
Andrew Adams
You misread. Without trinkets the Shambler only had a 5% chance to resist. Those two trinkets just boost the 140% stun chance of Rampart to 205%.
Joseph King
Yeah
Gabriel Young
>when you make a team for the Warrens, but get distracted and enter the Ruins instead
Charles Bell
yep. he has like a billion move resist but the crew doesn't, so you have to pull them forward rather than pushing him back. if he's already chained someone they stay chained and you can make it hard to free that person, but if you do it before he chains someone or just wait till they hit 100 stress and he releases them he just passes every time and it makes the fight a cakewalk
Austin Hernandez
Crewman's bell is pretty dank on Leper actually. Stops him from getting pushed somewhere useless, and makes his self heal stronger (15 HP at max level)
Easton Young
You're super duper wrong about how it works. When you attempt a stun, they roll 1d100 and add it to their stun resist. If it beats your stun chance they resist.
If you have a 100% stun, and they have 50% stun resistance, you stun them 50% of the time
Christopher Sullivan
Problem is that you need a Leper in your party for that.
Thomas Nelson
I find the bell usefull in the Leper for extra safety in some dungeons, also bumps his self heal.
Jeremiah Garcia
I didn't think people used things like the bleed stone. The -1 spd doesn't make up for the minor buff to bleed and at that level most of the time things will fail their bleed resist.
Isaac Anderson
>read somewhere Houndmaster is good >recruit the first one I find >he has been Virtuous THREE times in a row God bless this man. What's the trick to using them aside from AoE Bleed?
Parker Wilson
Setz did art
Camden Turner
Literally who?
Colton Johnson
I don't have other meaningful trinkets. More than half my collection has minus speed on it, and gives stuff like blight or disease resist, or blight chance.
Ian Martin
So I just got the Schrieker event where it takes 8 trinkets
Can I skip her and fight her later without having to worry about losing my trinkets?
Chase Torres
Popular Finnish drawfag
Aaron Sullivan
perkele :-D
Robert Russell
>can't lock all 5 This bothers my min/max autism.
Hudson Ross
Oh, and three Move Stone, -1 speed +10% move skills.
Dominic Wood
>go for hag champion level >bring MaA with a million hp >get him to mark himself at the beginning of the fight >hag never puts him in the pot a single time all fight despite him being marked 100% of the time
god i hate that boss
>that one hero that always rolls virtuous every time
it's the bounty hunter for me. dude doesn't give a shit about stress all he sees is money at the end of the tunnel
Jose Ward
Most of the trinkets in the game are so bad I end up selling them for petty cash. I'm not sure what the developers were thinking.
Jace Edwards
Perhaps that people like me will use them regardless, just to have trinkets on. That bleed never missed all dungeon run too!! On all the 2 non-skeleton enemies I encountered.
Ayden Russell
I wanna be a better person.
Nathaniel Rodriguez
Red Hook has a warped sense of balancing.
See >How we do make a boss difficult? >Give it 3 actions per turn!
Gabriel Nelson
>give it 3 actions per turn >each action removes 1 charge from debuffs on it
Way to nerf a quarter of the skills in the game.
Kevin Parker
When I got my first Flagellant I made the mistake of going to ruins only to remember immediately upon entering how useless bleeds generally were in the ruins.
Logan Gonzalez
Wait, does that include shit like -% PROT? or Marks?
Tyler Stewart
mammi :DDD sauna :DDD
Isaiah Perry
Yes. Debuffs/Mark decreases by one per action and dots tick once per action.
Ian Bennett
Yes, if you mark a boss with 4 actions, the mark will be gone by the time you act.
Kevin Myers
I fucking love bringing Flagellant into long champion runs, simply because he's a second healer and massive tank. There's plenty of enemies he can bleed, too, such as ghouls, cultists and brigands. He's kinda useless on the boss battles, though. He's just good at keeping everyone's health high.
Cooper Foster
With that I mean the ruins champion runs.
Asher Wilson
Noice
Austin Rivera
Marks should really last for rounds rather than turns.
Thomas Scott
Or caster turns, rather than target turns.
Aiden Nelson
Considering things like Bulwark now last for the entire battle, maybe sometime down the line RH will make changes to how status effects work? Speed has really fucked up the turn based nature of this game.
Nolan White
This gonna be fun
Owen Thompson
what do you recommend doing to grind for the heirlooms, keep recruiting low level guys and sending them to the slaughter, or carefully manage your mid tier with newly recruited low tier? I ask because I'm about out of space.
Hudson Mitchell
Is it possible to get Musketeer without have been a kike?
Hudson Sanchez
Yes, by being a pirate.
Juan King
>Miss! >Miss! >Miss!
>Our shit system thinks your post is spam because our devs are fucking retarded fuck off Hiroshimoot
Liam James
>pick up torch curio >2 trinkets inside it
Dog praise the Antiquarian.
Joseph White
I don't like how speed works in DD. I dislike the RNG element and how extremely important it is. In other games you can plan around having slow characters. In DD something like slow draw can be the difference between you coming out of a fight mostly unscathed or you surviving with two people at death's door on a champion dungeon because of how important it is to nuke/stun high priority targets on the first round.
Liam Evans
best jewfu
Zachary Wood
Some classes are really better suited for lower level dungeons, where enemies don't have jacked up dodge and speed.
Aaron Reed
Jesus christ, I love riposte now.
Juan King
>Collector shows up >oh fuck >Crit, stun, shit fury all over him That went way better than expected.
Luke Young
>vestal resists the crimsonfags attempts at infecting her for the whole run >gets infected in the last battle
>backtrack to secret room after boss fight with 4 food >second food event at the last square before reaching the room
Why is this game so vindictive?
Camden Murphy
The collector is usually a moderate challenge, but if you have a group with good rank 1 stuns at high speed, or good rank 4 damage potential, he can be a real joke.
Nicholas James
>heal 0-2 >bleed
Occultists are unreliable garbage.
Ian Green
wtf is this Shambler and why did it just wipe my party after I put a torch on that red thingy
William Flores
>using the occultist for his heal hahahaha
Kevin Gonzalez
His heal is unreliable but sometimes good. He pairs well with high-HP guys who can handle bad heals and take advantage of big ones.
To get good use of him in a healing role, it helps to grab his stun and his DMG debuff to do some mitigation. It also helps to have a flagellant or plague doctor or auntie to throw in an occasional heal when necessary.
Austin Martinez
>Place a torch if you crave the void! How can you seriously not expect something like that to happen?
