Has there ever been a more overhyped car?

Has there ever been a more overhyped car?

Literally any Tesla model

>Anything Tesla

>Goes on a high speed, slow corner track.
>Brake failure after half a day.
>It's not too heavy.

It's shit.

Tesla

Literally any Tesla.

How the hell was it overhyped? even during its peak interest at its first concept reveals its not like people treated it as the second coming of jesus like they were doing the new GT (which turned out to be the equivalent of an ostrich sticking its head in the sand after being cheered on to come on stage what a fucking joke)

the new NSX is underrated is fug.

It's shit.

Honda should have kept the V10 they originally planned on implementing.

>Is a V6.

Trump was suppose to bring back V8's.

>Muh F1 link
>Marketing

If a team of marketers made a car. This would be it.

No u
That would've only raised the price, decreased reliability and made for a even heavier much less fuel efficient car for moderately higher horsepower gain you could achieve already by just cranking up the boost on the V6. even if you suggest removing the hybrid stuff to save weight you are losing AWD and traction and you have to compensate with advanced aero shit to put the power down which means even more of a price hike and less practicality.

no bueno

...

*brakes fail and you crash into barrier*

>Supercar

>ts not like people treated it as the second coming of jesus

Are you sure you've never met a Honda or weeb fan? The media didn't care to much about it but NSX fans sure did.

worse fuel ecnomy, absurdly high price, less practical (manages to have a smaller trunk than the NSX despite FR layout), less traction, NSX can have its boost cranked up to make even more power that is stunted at the power it has out the factory. it will not rack up the miles a more modest turbo V6 will either as from what i heard LFAs need engine servicing apporaching 100k miles, engine parts are needlessly expensive.

vs engine fires from pic related.

They can't handle the fact its

>Too heavy
>The Torque vectoring destroys the brakes after heavy use on track.
>You feel the front push (due to weight) when you attack corners.
>It's overly complicated
>Has little brake feel (Brake by wire ffs)
>Has little feedback through the steering wheel.
>Has a cheap and nasty interior.
>Sounds shit
>Looks like a parrot with it's stupid chrome beak.
>Looks American in general
>Has Hybrid drivetrain no one asked for.

NC1 is flop.

>>Has Hybrid drivetrain no one asked for.

now, see, that's where you are wrong m8

>Brakes disintegrate at track
>Have to fork out $15,000 for replacement brakes.

The NC1 is truly an engineering masterpiece user.

how will Elon ever recover

didn't disintegrate at the 12 mile long pikes peak filled with hairpins. still better than going Allah Snackbar'ing at a gas station like

>12 miles of hard driving
>The brakes not disintegrating is an achievement

The absolute STATE of the NC1 NSX.

you make it sound like that's impressive.

Do you have an LFA doing it?

Its only overhyped because Honda keeps pouring money into every kind of advertising imaginable. Because no one is buying it.

Why would they do it? They went to the Nurburgring. Just like every major manufacturer when they want to do their marketing BS.

See pic related

Seems like pikes peak would be a better durability test with the extremely high altitude increasing the chances of everything overheating and the hair-pins everywhere. it definitely puts more stress on the car than the nurburgring would.

>nsx
>hype

>Better durability test
>But it's brakes disintegrate over half a day of track work.

Nice meme m8

at the Nurburgring they just have staff waiting by to replace parts, still better durability than anything the original NSX or LFA did.

Keep digging that hole m8. Any bigger and you're going to make it big enough to contain all the NC1 fanboys delusions.
