I once had a group that took 45 minutes to get the first boss down to 40%. I was on my healer, before you say anything. At one point, the boss approached the gate and the tank kept tanking him there. Every DPS backed off of the boss to give the tank, who could barely hold aggro, all the freedom in the world to reposition. He didn't. The boss moved through the gate and reset. Half the group left then and there, didn't even ask to be kicked and just took the leaver debuff.
