It really doesn't. Even as one of the main counters it is still an unreliable counter. When I was climbing to Master rank, I teched in a third Spawn and that dealt with the Haven opponents very nicely. All the healing in the world isn't going to save you from on curve board spam, constant harassing to the face, storm followers, and then frequent Spawn drops.

Everything is balanced, meta changes weekly, you can have fun and get your shit easily without stressing out or forking over dollaridoos (takes some time and skill but better than getting fucked in curverse).

I just can't fucking make it there anymore, I either lose before I hit turn 9 or I have to spend all of my evo points to not die before getting there, playing sword feels like absolute dog shit right now, everyone can fuck up Sword at this moment, it has nothing to handle early game boards (LOL 5pp Cyclone that kills your board), other control deck shits on it because they don't let you play Albert, EVER, so you can never really finish the game while they just play removal and then drop shit like Bahamut or Aegis and shit on you.
It makes me fucking sick that most of the Neutral Package feels like an old Sword deck, what's the point on having this shitty class when all it has is weaker versions of other decks.

It won't do well. You'll get destroyed by neutral and especially by aggressive Blood decks. anything based around Vengeance is basically unplayable in this meta. It also has a real issue with cycle. You HAVE to fight for the board the first four turns, and in doing so you're left with few resources.

Control Blood is playable, but it loses to Spawn Neutral Blood so people don't even give a fuck about it anymore. You can probably beat other Neutral decks once people start playing them again after the nerfs come, but it's not good right now.

You need to be in fucking Vengeance, what means you'll be at 4 HP at absolute best. Also, evolved Spawn survives Revelation.

Yes, roland and wards and yes esmerald is a good card against the amulet but this is all about having luck.

It doesn't. You have to get extremely lucky. What a lot of people fail to understand is that anytime Spawn goes up against a deck that has answers to it, they just choose not to play it until later. They have so much power as it is with BKB, Scarlet, Emeralda, and the Neutral engine that you're scrambling to deal with those threats. Once the late game hits, suddenly back to back Spawns and you're fucked.
