They stop being that as soon as you throw on a bigger turbo or tune it. I’ve had 5 different friends own speed 3s and they broke more often than my VR6-T Passat

I have an 05 Saturn Ion with 240K miles and it still runs somehow. Makes all kinds of crazy grinding noises and shit but still runs. The only worrisome thing is it sometimes won't shift gears. RPMs will get crazy high and I literally have to pull over and turn the car off and on again. But that's only happened a couple times in 3 years
