Chiaking looks so much better now. She aged like wine.

SS is older and a bit more polished, interface is 5 buttons for every difficulty, large song and idol pool. Roughly 2/3rds of the idols are unvoiced, and outside of the rhythm parts, everything is 2D. Actively getting new songs for events. CMs or other already existing songs get added whenever Chihiro feels like it, most have already been added.

TD is very new, difficulty modes range from 2 to 6 buttons with a vertical 2 button extra mode, roughly 1/4th the idols and less songs for the time being. There's also a "job" system to spend your energy when you don't have time to play. All of the idols are voiced and use 3D models for everything. We have no idea when or how new songs will be added, but it'll probably get established this month according to datamining.

The cast of the 2011 anime is only in TD.
