I tried it out on an old phone because I don't give a fuck. The "hack" basically hacks your local phone files so it says you have 5000 Quartz or whatever, but on the FGO server, it still says you have however many quartz you had before. So you can't actually make any more purchases. And yes, the games it makes you download are infested with malware.

Every 3 turns it resets. Each turn it pulls 5 cards from the deck of your 3 servants and you pick 3, the 2 left over are discarded. After 3 turns it reshuffles. I think NP also reshuffles or servant death.

15 cards, 5 are drawn at the start. Those 5 are all gone the next turn, and another random 5 of the 10 not chosen from the first turn are presented. Then, those cards are all gone, replaced by the 5 remaining cards in the deck. Then it repeats. This is important for planning NP use to guarantee chains, so it might be a good idea to get alright at counting cards while content is easy.
