Unlikely but not impossible. There's literally 6-7 hero releases left this year and we only have 2 supports so far.

I highly doubt they'd make most of the rest of the heroes this year supports.

I just don't see how you can make Mei work in HoTS. All of her kit is already in the game in one form or another.

Nobody picks Butcher because he needs a team built around him and because so much shit counters him. When he is picked, it's because he has the right team for it and the enemy team doesn't.

I don't know why they even added Zarya. Her ult fills the same niche that ETC's does and she's also a pretty generic tank, trading non-ult CC for supporty-ness.

She's one of the more unique Overwatch kit designs and translated well to Heroes. She can fit in a lot of comps and when played well adds a lot of sustain to her team as well as constant poke and some top tier ults.

Dota is one of those games where they balance unreasonable things by giving everyone unreasonable things. I find it fantastic to watch, but kinda slow to play.

How is a competitive team made of? In lol its 1 adc 1 supp 1 mid 1 top and jungle

Almost no specialists, sometimes 2 supports, sometimes 2 tanks, very pick-counterpick stuff...stick around on Twitch and see for yourself.

You're joking right? Abbatoir is the biggest noob trap talent in the game.

Why? You complete the q by 7-8 minutes and get extra damage per kill.

What makes a "good composition" in this game is not at all set in stone. Every single map and objective are different and different compositions have equal chances of winning if drafted against the enemy well enough.

You can't really go into games thinking shit like "we need dps" or some shit because some games, you might not. It's a judgment call and a test of wisdom of the game to know what's good when and why.

Also varies hugely by skill level, but I've seen just as many successful zero support triple specialist meme teams win as I've seen 1 tank 1 supp 2 ass 1 spec teams win.

Since blizzard is less shit than riot, there isn't an enforced composition. A lot of it is map based, but typically you'll want at least one good source of disruption and one good source of sustain. Beyond that, it depends on what you plan on doing.

For Dota/LoL, not really. League's f2p system is extremely greedy and runes kind of ruin it. Dota was good once upon a time and plays nothing like other mobas, but Valve are probably the most awful game-balancers I've ever seen in my life and they piledrive it even further into its grave every patch. It turns into a different and worse moba every fucking time they update the game.
Smite is okay. It's got a cool option where you can get every hero forever for a flat fee, $30 or something. Problem is the heroes are extremely fucking samey and if you've played one in a class, you've played 90% of them in that class. Especially hunters (autoattack DPS).
Awesomenauts is 2D and controls like a sidescrolling shooter. Surprisingly good for what it is, plays a bit like this HotS if it didn't have map objectives but the maps were smaller to compensate. Went free to play recently, and has a similar thing that Smite does with "buy once, get all characters". Does have an item system, but they're mostly character-specific so they function like talents.
Dawngate was fucking amazing and played with a lot of ideas that most mobas take for granted. Most notable ones being that you could choose your main income source at the start of the game, stats were more steamlined to be universal among heroes while still balanced, and it had Starcraft-style resource denial where you could straight-up kill workers that farmed passive gold for your team. Jungle was also gigantic, map was 2-lane (but huge) with a boss in the middle, and the core/nexus/ancient was actually a giant boss monster that fought back.

You can complete it faster with the extra damage to npcs plus it will work for the rest of the game to clean and grab mercs.

It's a safety talent in my case. I hate losing 10 meat per death, it's enough of a setback to make me not risk it.

Butcher is faceroll mcdivedive, his death is usually more in the enemy's hands than his own. And I can't trust how well my enemies are going to respond to me before we've had a few engages.

Hopefully never because it's not needed. You deny enemies xp by having a splitpusher on your team and force them to not soak one lane having to deal with opposite lane pressure.

Hopefully never given than HotS mages hit like wet noodles even moreso than Dota ones. Also good luck ever getting XP on Abathur if someone's in your lane.

Denying is a minigame in a 45 minute match. There's not time in Hots for additional bullshit minigames when the matches last 8-25 mins tops.

The last one was Valeera. I think it will be Maiev to promote Legion before the next expansion.
