The first time that I seen it mentioned was in 2012 as they were selling Hello Kitty wearing Sonic's outfit; much bigger than the 2016 counterpart iirc.

Everytime I come back to sonic Generations I'm surprised by how much I like it. I feel like I let recent popular opinion make me forget how much fun I have playing it.

It's a pretty well put together game.

From left to right it looks like we've got some kind of ninja, then one in what looks like a top hat, third looks like the one with the cape we've seen in that animation and the painting in Mirage Saloon, then lastly there's one swinging a flail. I can't tell if there's one between them or if it's just his cape blending in with the other ones flail. And then there's Heavy Gunner of course.

Don't listen to the vocal minority, Generations is great. I guarantee you, if we held a strawpoll Generations and Adventure 2 would be the top 2 favorites.

Why does it seem like some kids think they'll be more mature if they drop a series. Just say you're not interested instead of sounding pretentious. It also doesn't help when you drop a series for an equally "childish"

If you went back to the 90s liking Sonic was cool in the schoolyard, but when I was growing up it had became a joke and I was ridiculed for it. Unfortunately now the cool thing to like is shit like Roblox and Minecraft and liking Sonic is something to be ashamed of.

Generations feels good enough to make 06 feel good. It's not my ideal feel for 3D Sonic, of course. Kinda' tanky, but still it works.

Yeah that's something to consider as well and I personally experience it as well but I was thinking about primary school since they mentioned it and it seems sad that people, especially kids, would do so. My apologies.

Personally I jumped back and forth between talking a little bit and lurking. I wasn't very social online or offline anyway, but I would have loved to get together to with others. Maybe I'll try again this semester.

It's interesting to see the division between "younger people liking old things" and "younger liking new things". Obviously there's newcomers (old and young) to Sonic but I think it's harder to see that when you're online vs. around outside.

No, because my actions on the internet are separated from my actions in real life. Having said that, if I was younger I would probably be coerced into getting rid of any Sonic stuff I had, games included. I still hide from others what little I have.

Heroes is gorgeous.

Heroes comes from the "everyone's slathered in oil" generation of games.

Color palette is gorgeous. Levels look okay. Character models are awful.
