So i made my character and got off the newbie island thing and am now in a town. I have some questions

1. Assuming i want to take the advice from last thread to avoid crafting and gathering (i do actually plan on do this at some point but not now), is there some basic level of crafting/gathering i want to obtain to make starting out easier, or should i totaly skip it entierly?

2. What is my first priority? I read someone somewhere mention getting an island and farming carrots to sell is a good idea. Is this true? Is that a good idea? Or is even that a bad idea?

3. Location.
I started in the snow area, is there some alternate part of the map i should be going to for our shitty meme guilds?

I would grind out everything so you can at least use and gather tier 3, then from there choose what you should specialize in. Islands are a must have but be careful where you put them as if you want to move location you will have to scrap everything.

Theres no official Veeky Forums guild, theres Baka and then theres this arabs the_donald twitch guild .

Is farming still a shit without premium? I seem to remember in the beta it was just a money sink continually buying seeds if you didn't get that extra seed yield from watering with the premium resource.

So i reached T3 tools and the grind becomes too much for me. Should I focus on one gathering, refining and crafting profession and buy the rest with silver that I'm going to make from being a one trick?

short answer: yes

long answer: focus on one char until you have enough money to purchase premium for alts. said alts will be for gathering/crafting focused or even just trading

The whole game in red and black zones is one giant territory war user, it's a shitshow there is constant war

The game just came out some days ago i think the guilds are still trying to tier up.

b. A successful guild in Albion generally requires a lot of planning before a wipe and making a new guild now would be confusing and difficult and likely be a giant fail (unless you had some guilds and islands already made to work with and use as a base with a large base of members)

You need workshops, you need people, you need comms, you need teamwork

Good Albion guilds aren't really something you can just throw together and expect to do anything meaningful, the game requires constant communication and a lot of teamwork and selflessness

Like do you really expect a bunch of Veeky Forumsers that don't know each other to donate resources and build workshops for people they don't know and don't trust and trust them not to steal shit?

Depends if you got a guild or not, get one close to the resource you need the most. Carleon should be avoided if soloing as it is surrounded by red zones and you will not survive the zerg.

So I like the druid/nature staff, which is of course a Hunter-made item, while the corresponding robes are Mage-made items. Am I doing this wrong? Should I be wearing leather armor with my druid staff or am I just choosing a complicated path?

You can wear any time of armor with any type of weapon

Cloth will make you heal better and do more magic damage, plate will halter your damage but improve defence. And if im not mistaken leather reduces CD and CC?
