Yeah, you only need to do a quest to get it. Then you change your mystic code in the battle menu before a battle. This mystic code supports Arts parties.

Different Mystic Codes have different "Master spells" on them. So, you'll have something different than the HP heal, ATK buff, one turn Evade spells available that we're used to if you equip that one.

Finish the first. Level 10 yields a 1 turn reduction for all spells on that Mystic Code, same as level 6 does. The default mystic code has a nice, short cooldown on the heal, so it really makes a difference.

What I hope is that when maintenance is done they have an announcement saying the event starts next week. But at this point it wouldn't surprise me if we don't see it 'til sometime in August.

I think that particular MC is still level 1 on my JP account. Don't think I ever even equipped it once.
The only ones really worth using are chaldea, battlesuit, Atlas and anniversary blonde anyway.
Luckily you don't even have to level Atlas or battlesuit for them to be good.
