0.2 isn't the entire story of Aqua in the RoD though, so it's possible that was off-screen. Sloppy if so, but still viable.
The line is 心の繋がりをたどって It means "follow the connections of the heart(s)"
He also uses the verb 教わる, to teach, when he says "that's something Master Aqua told me once." So REALLY, it's just a concept he learned from Aqua. Not a phrase she actually spoke.

I think they made Sora fall like that just to get him into the fighting stance so they can make a seamless transition to the next scene.
