this looks incredible.

if the ds5 came in a manual with this interior in the US, i probably would buy it desu

want.

Finally the only reason to get a Citroen: cheap as shit luxury

>that start button location

I would press that thing so hard when trying to put on my hazards

>all that velour and glossy plastic buttons
that's a terrible idea, a little dust and fingerprints and it'll look like total crap

>"performance line"
>citroen
FUNNY JOKE

PSA makes some kino interiors. If only they put them into interesting cars instead of 100 barely different crossover SUVs.

>all that alcantara
>none in the steering wheel

Sums up the state of France desu. We have all the good will and skill in the world, but our industry is being cucked very hard by safety and ecological regulation bullshit. So we improve where we can, interior is a quite neutral element political-wise.

I like how it feels but usually on steering wheels it turn to shit for some reason

This is something out of deus ex or something.

SPACE SHIP

manual option?

Space ship and futuristic but not in a bad way.

unfortunately no. this is their big suv thing, the ds7 crosstrek(?)

that's fucking atrocious

There are no big sedans so the French president has to ride in a crossover. Lmao.

Superior presidential mobile.

hollande had a ds5. a much better choice

>We have all the good will and
>(all the good) skill in the world
>French cars

>that clock
My fetish.
It is it.

>Hard plastics everywhere with fancy details: the car

>a clock in the display and a clock in the dash.

>air conditioning set on max temperature @ maximum fan speed to defrost the windshield
>done, now time to set a normal temperature
>touchscreen breaks because french electronics
>sorry_dave_I_can't_let_you_do_that.mp3

French "engineering"

Official presidential cars powerrating
>De Gaulle's unkillable DS
>Pompidou, Chirac and Mittérand's modified convertible SM
>Chirac's C6
>Giscard's DS
>Hollande through the sunroof of a DS5
>wet Macron in a DS7
>Sarko's saw-cut 607

hors-concours :
>Mittérand in a Twingo
>Sarko and Hollande being manlets in an ACMAT command vehicle
>Mittérand in custom-made limousines when invited by african dictators

drove a fully-spec'd one
pretty comfy and looks nice

Alcantara gets nasty if you touch it all the time
See: the Microsoft surface keyboard covers

There is something about the texture of that cheap hyper soft valoure that makes my skin crawl

>screens
*vomits*

This. It will look like literal garbage in a week.

That's a 17k car you retard of course there's going to be plastics.

Those window switches beside the shifter are cool as fuck, honestly. The only part I don't like is the screen that literally looks tacked on, they could've done a way better job integrating that and the row of buttons below it.

>denial
>a door panel completely made of hard and cheap plastic is normal

That plastic is not only the cheapest quality possible, even if hard, it's also extremely horrid to look at, showcasing the low quality of that car interior.

Pic related is 10 years old and looks way better and pleasant, while being part of the same segment and price tag as the C3. Hard plastics have also a better surface, better worked.

Also this is the previous gen C3 with a decent interior, actually well done unlike the garbage toy they make today.

Oops...

Exactly. I heard France is a great country but the politics fuck things up.

Further proof that the french cannot into cars.

In the 80's they were at least ergonomic.

This is how the twingo's designer described a renault board meeting.

>single prong steering wheel
>vertical stereo
>drum dials
>vertical cylinders with all the controls
>CX suspension controls and braking mushroom
I miss late 70s and 80s Citroën so much it's not even funny

>the pinnacle of yuropoor interior design
not shocked OP

actual Citroen DS interior.

I do like the red one better

i need it

all this velours is making me uncomfortable

It's best on the seats.

M2 facelift interior, not top tier, but I like it.

>blue gauge faces
I did not know I wanted this until now.

That's fucking great.

My Pajero Sport has a clock on the trip computer display and a clock on the multimedia display. They're not synchronized and have to be set separately.
Incidentally, Mitsubishi is part of PSA.

This one looks like faux leather, not velour. Much more practical.

The pattern on the seats is cool as fuck.

Wonder how well it looks without studio lighting.

what did he mean by this?

Pretty good still, from this show floor pic anyway.

C4 suffered even harder.
It looked extremely cool both inside and outside, but they had to go ahead and make turn it into a bland budget car.
Oh and fuck me if I ever forgive them for removing a fixed hub steering wheel.

>cheaper to use small surplus leather parts

That is the old C4 which the production will stop at February in 2018. At the same time C4 Cactus and C4 lines are to be merged. This is the new C4 dash.

Too much fucking alcantara jesus. There are other materials out there

It's a nice change of pace from too much leather.

just fuck my shit up

>double-ipad
This might be one of the dullest interiors I have ever seen.

>This might be one of the dullest interiors I have ever seen.

>No physical buttons
Yeah, no thanks.

>mfw I realize that I will never be able to buy a proper new C4 again

painted metal por example.

I see plenty of physical buttons.
A few around the gear selector and I think those below the screen are also push buttons (plus what looks like a scroll wheel).

French interior thread eh?

...

...

...

...

...

>sitting at the same level as the floor

Yeah I'm not so sure about that

I think they copied 3008 controls, at least they look very similar. Same steering wheel button layout, same basic and mode selection buttons below the touch screen.
I did a test drive, and you know what, if I ever get to choose between the touch screen and no buttons and a simple monochrome display with proper buttons for climate, audio and navigating through menus, I'll take the monochrome display.

baroque overdesign. Don't like.

Old school british- I mean french interior.

Wow. For a tablet on the dash, modern car, this is not bad.

Really makes you realize how fucking awful Tesla is at this.

>pic related
>5900€

Just rewatched Hungary 2014 and Brundle was talking about a very successful Jolyon Palmer in GP2. What went wrong?

interior was also good, if not exceptional.

De Gaulle survived an assassination attempt thanks to his DS, a true car for heads of state

>gold tiny wheel caps because FUCK YOU
youtube.com/watch?v=7qpl8TbqkEg

>Mitsubishi is part of PSA.
They're not, they just had agreement for PSA to use the iMiev and Outlander platforms. If anything, Mitsubishi is now part of Renault-Nissan

>- Hey, Jean, let's overcomplicate the air vents!
> - Of course, Francois, my man!

I'm getting some Avantime flashbacks here.
And I like it.
The C6 has lost so much value it's possible to find one for less than 11k€ and easy to find for 11-18k€.
I'm seriously considering getting one once I have the room to park its 5 meters in length

>fun fact : this would also have worked with the following SM and CX presidential cars since what made it possible for the chauffeur to run away was Citroën's suspension system making it possible to keep going on three wheels if one of your tires goes flat
Not sure if that would be the case with the C6 and the current DS7 though.

Best interior 2017.

Both C5 and C6 have true Hydractive suspension. In fact, they share the same suspension, but lower trims of C5 have the simplified version with only 2 sensors and fewer spheres.

DS7 suspension is different.

Holy Beautiful

I love velour myself, had an old Mazda, car was a POS parts hungry fucker - interior couldn't be broken though, comfy as fuck.

Just makes me think of a Yaris with a sided instrument cluster and I fucking hate the Yaris interior.

Lower trims of last gen C5 have no hydraulic suspension at all.

Don't buy a Hilux

You can find them as low as 5k where I live. Severely underrated cars.

>Datsun is now poomobiles and rebadged Ladas

Why is this allowed?

Same idea, but proper execution.

The floor in a Hilux is like 3 feet from the road though.

The first C4 had kino interior and exterior.
Shame it had EP6 and AL4 inside.

Aye but you still sit with your knees like chest height.

I mainly hate the Yaris interior because it's made like shit.
