Yes. At best you'll get a ws4. Kazuya himself will get a Twin Pistons launcher. You're better off low parrying it.

Magic 4s, they have better range, but damage afterwards is usually low.

His f2 is slower, but crushes highs and has longer reach. It also misses pretty often for no good reason.

A 2-3 frames slower though, but sounds great.

Ideally you should be able to spot the uppercut and defend if needed and WS punish if it doesn't come out. You can also hopkick punish after blocking in between kicks.

It depends on your character. With Leo/Josie/Xiayou you can actually get pretty far by just mashing out your cheap shit. Probably Asuka too.

I don't think he's right about mashing, but she's one of those characters you can get far with just by playing your own game. Same with Hwo and Eddy, probably a few others too.

Different strengths. Alisa has a bigger set of tools to use but you can fall into the trap of using gimmicks at the lower levels. Kazumi has a much, much smaller set of tools and not very many gimmicks you could abuse aside from the tiger projectiles.

You can tell who's never played Josie before by whether or not they think you can mash with her.

'mashing out' and 'mashing' aren't the same thing in this contest, mashing is when you just mash buttons, mashing out is when you're trying to do a specific thing but you mash the inputs because you can't time them correctly

Alisa can't apply continuous pressure. She closes in with d+3 or SBT, gets a few hits and then backs off.

Kazumi is better at sticking to opponent, with her df+1, low kick and her 1,1,2 which knockdowns leading to FLY followups.

i think like if you custom off kasumi's matronly hair she's a bit prettier than alisa
