Could someone give me some advice regarding Oblivion modding?

So, as I'm understanding it, it seems to be a safer choice to unpack all BSAs and let them be loose files in your Oblivion game? If we look away from the fact that it takes up a lot more space (disk space is not an issue for me) and that it might be easier to uninstall, is there any advantage/reason to keep BSAs? My priority is stability here!

use Ordinator or Perma, allows you to do some nice stuff with poisons. Its a good idea to get stealth and pickpocket up so you can slip poison into anyones inventory. I think it was perma that had a speech perk that would make you "join" a certain faction if you wear their costume.

So you could dress up as forsworn, sneak into their camp, paralyze their chief and then poison him to death.

For combat, just take daggers for very high attackspeed. Apply paralyze and some poison on each dagger. hit them as fast as you can

not sure if there is a mod that allows poison to build up stacks...

yeah they are great. my favorite playstyle is alchemy with illusion, pickpocketing, stealth and speech. Going full spy/assassin.

Make sure to use Skytweak, its very important. Just download /install it and look at the options, you will understand why.

You'd have to tweak the neotenous features. Namely her big round eyes that make her look juvenile. Would make a good loli character though.

Texture set isn't the case unless you're trying to make a teen character with Mature Skin although there are people that have actually tweaked Mature Skin to the point they can make lolis with it

It's tiresome to manually do 230 plugins after updating each 6 months hiatus.

Not all your plugins need cleaning. Loot will tell you which ones need cleaning.

Usually at least 1/4 needs, and deleting those UDRs greatly improve stability.
Loot don't know about all mods.

I hate Morrowind Better Bodies too. They went too far in the opposite direction and made everything look like some sort of uncanny valley perfectly smooth bag filled with meat, then took a photograph of some famous actor and mapped it to the head models.

But that doesn't solve the face problem he's talking about, or the armor problem. He'd need mods like westly's heads or mackom's heads for head/hair, and there are various armor mods that change the armor styles for females.
