Exactly. And that makes all the difference. Being voiced also means you can appear in fully voiced commus of more popular idols, like Aki and Suzuho recently in Sachiko's story commu (if you decide to be a bully to her). These and SS event commus are far more detailed than anything in original CG.
They also get the chance to be in songs. Aki hasn't got one recently, but was one of the earlier voiceds to be in a Starlight Master CD, getting in before a bunch of far more popular girls. Suzuho is just scheduled to be in a song in a CD coming next month.
