Maybe someond can shed some light for me. There is an 05 wrx, 120k miles, water pump, head gaskets, timing chain, all replaced, plus a few others. They want $8900, is that a good price?

what's the story, why haven't you checked it out? sounds like a good deal if all checks out with paperwork. Ask if you can check it out under a lift or something
i don't see anything wrong with this case if he gets receipts for the maintenance and a good look under the car with a lift

Its a small dealership, which doesnt always mean much, but they will let me take it to a garage of my choice and i have a buddy who owns a shop with a lift

I own a 2017 WRX limited with a CVT.

Considering my last car was a Veloster Turbo its one hell of an upgrade.

The CVT isint as bad as you would think, plus an easy modification will let you go over 300+ tourqe and not blow up the trans. With 8 "simulated" gears and paddle shifters it is pretty nice. Its not as bad as you think once you drive it.

I also got the STI exhaust and it sounds much better than the stock.

Planning on getting new headlights and led fog lights soon for $1500. Also getting Super Sports once summer comes around.

Also I forgot to mention I paid over $50k, it was a complete steal.

Prices seem to have gone up since I bought it. It runs great at least until I started fucking with it. The only bad parts about it are that it’s kinda dinged up but nothing major. Interior was swapped to the WRX limited front seats and door panel fabric which looks so much better imo. Don’t have any pics with me and it’s dark out so I can’t get one tonight. This is the color though, not my favorite but it really grew on me and looks a lot better in person, especially when the sunlight hits it.

Yeah I’ve owned it for a little under a year now and I’m really glad I got that color now. I was going for desert silver but it seems really bland looking at it now. This car in black though is pure sex. The little kid in me still wishes I had a world rally blue WRX though

Im going for a borla catback in my 2011, they produce lots of low end rumble when you get on it but dont have a lot of high end noise or drone at highway speeds

I'd probably try and talk down the price a bit but besides that it sounds pretty good if the seller is being honest about the work he's put into it

im importing tuned by arai springs from japan for my 06 wrx. those fuckers have 345 spring rate in the front

When my check engine light came on, I went to my local auto parts store and had the code read. They cleared it, saying it could have been an error and told me to come back if the light came back on.

It did, and it was the same code of P0420 again. I did my research and it could be one of several things:

dont even bother paying to get that fixed, basically it means the rear o2 sensor is not getting a nominal reading which only matters for the emissions jew

most tuned subarus have that code disabled because it always shows up

find some subaru tuner in your area and get him to disable the code for you. had to do that for my airpump deletes. cost me 40 canadian pesos

ya probably, my wrx with 114k feels like garbage and im currently in the process of replacing all of them atm. its a good excuse to get the wrench out and learn the car.

most of them arent bad, find a shop somewhere that will do any pressing for super cheap if you bring them the part. couple of them need to be pressed. shouldnt take more than 15 mins labour to press them, some might do it for free if they like you
