I almost bought a 240 but then I saw that video of you spinning out and almost falling off a cliff at like 20 mph. So it sucks that old Volvos are associated with this video now. I couldn't drive one, thinking about how fucking lame that video of you was.

Someone compliment me plz

just goes to show how much of a beta you are that a video of me stops you from buying a car, more volvos for meeeee! :3

shes ugly

>more volvos for meeeee! :3
1. You sound deranged
2. Thankfully my local Volvos are safe from being spun out and crashed by you

By the way, I just need you to know that this video was just about the lamest shit I have ever seen. I feel much second-hand embarrassment for you

lol idc, apparently you care enough that you didn't buy a car because of me, I'm glad I could cuck you like that lmfao

muh volvo

RIP, my Volvo.

It was an S40 T5 AWD with literally every available option. It had cold weather pkg, leather seats, keyless entry, prem sound, prem wheels, etc...

>pulling into an intersection before you double check that it's clear
shiggy diggy.

so clean

>implying I was at fault for the accident
The dude hit me from the rear side because he was speeding.

I've never seen someone so angry about driving a boxy Volvo.

probably raging at his wife in the passenger seat telling him to sell it and lease a new car

Find the least rusty one you can, then here's a good general checklist for when you find one you consider buying.

i lost an antler at 80mph so i took the other off

Only 80? I've been 100+ with mine, I thought the frameless windows would make it more likely to fall off.

Are these things any fucking good? Aside from being an awful lot smaller than I first thought I like the way they look

a mazda 3 with the maintenance cost of a luxury car

Can someone give me a quick rundown on 2011-2015 S60 T6s?
They seem nice on paper, but I'm wary of the effect the Chinese have had on the cars.

The pre chink era was even worse; Ford owned the company and built absolute hunks of shit.

>t. former 06 S40 T5 owner

well they suffer from shitty modern car design so they shouldn't be considered at all.

...

They were going to shit even before Ferd bought them, as they never had enough money to modernize, and reliability suffered badly. They started getting better towards the end of last decade, and were pretty solid again by the middle of this one.
The Chinese had no effect on that generation, but there's no point in getting the S60 when the V60 exists. The last couple years of the V60 R-Design were outstanding, albeit outdated from an electronics standpoint. Anyway, Geely's had a really good influence on Volvo, since they basically just threw billions at the company and told them to make the best shit they could. The new ones are solid, but the new Sensus infotainment/car management software was released in a buggy state. They've fixed a lot of them but it's still glitchy at times.

They're really solid cars, they still have the reliably 5pot engine. My ex gf had one and i absolutely loved it. She got me into the Volvo lyfe lol

Thinking about buying a 2001-2006 S60 or V50 in the 3500-4500€ range. What am I getting myself into? I see most of them at 250k-350k km on the clock but in pretty good condition visually.

My 2007 S60R manual 6spd. Just bought it in october to use as a winter/DD car. Kinda high mileage at 145k but it was apparently well maintained. The PO took it to the dealer every 25k miles for a checkup like a good goyim.

Since ive had the car I did a front suspension refresh including the control arms and expensive 4C struts, and replaced a few engine torque mounts. Im hoping i don't have to spend any more cash on this car until spring at least. Ive heard plenty about how expensive these can be to maintain...

They're good cars my dude

I can beat muh meat to this

Lol stop I want to cuck him

My 1994 940 GL.

pre volvo

very clean, very nice

Wow she's beautiful my man. I do know that the fuel pressure sensor is very common to fail, its like a 30$ part and takes 5 minutes to replace. Don't freak out if its hesitant to start, that'll be the issue

It's because he knows he isn't driving a Volvo. He's driving a DAF with a nicer badge and better engine.

Clean as fuck, my melanin-enhanced peer.

I truly believe furries are degenerates that need to be gassed but I have to give it to you, you have sense and taste in car styling.

Can you post the video? I'm curious.

Chuckled.

Neat steelies. Where'd you get 'em?

>Breather box: replace and do intake gasket while you're at it
>EGR: clean where it goes into intake
>Crank sensor: I'd get a new one, or have a new one in the glovebox.
>Coil to distributor wire: have a spare on you, or just replace immediately
>Heater hose back by firewall is prone to leaking
>Heater core is prone to leaking, if you lose coolant check the carpets in the passenger footwell for moisture
>If you see oil in the overflow tank, don't panic, the tranny cooler is prone to degrading and leaking ATF into the cooling system. Just change the radiator, coolant, and ATF
>FCP Euro if you're on the east coast
>Rockauto for Midwest
>IPD for west coast
>Get ready for brittle plastic everything

>lolvo
Kys

Good info, thanks m8. Had my 86 for 2 years as a dd, 88k to 128k, only done brakes and ignition system trying to chase down a dead computer. Plus a few little things here and there

wayyyyy comfier my nigga. dis is mine

good shit

who would park his cars like that?

They're good cars to learn how to fix things on because you really have to try if you want to hurt them, even for the novice there's not much to mess up
