Rebuilt this one myself

The only good thing GM has ever done

rate the difficulty

>no overdrive

there is no need for an overdrive if the the road is 402 meters long

5/10
just alot of small parts and for some stuff theres a certain way it goes together or it all comes apart again. It was definitely a lot of fun to tear it apart

isn't there a bunch of backlash and tolerances that are a pain in the ass to get correct?

Looks good what car is it from?

r154 from a mk3 supra
you literally just follow the manual like a bible the only hard part is pressing on the gears

if you guys have seen my z i run the same thing in it behind a 1j vvti

Nice job man, wish I had a garage to work in

i feel ya bro/o/ther back when i ripped the l28 i wrenched outside, those rubber fuel lines in the fuel injection are not fun to replace in the snow. They are right over the exhaust manifold to, super sketchy

Yeah that sounds like a bitch, I guess I shouldn’t complain too much since we don’t get snow over here

I call bullshit, nobody on Veeky Forums actually knows how to work on cars

03-72LE

25 years of no fluid changes and third world mountain conditions.

Started giving problems with reverse earlier this year and a seal, brake and band replacement sorted everything out.

haha it sure does feel that way sometimes huh

>Implying you need overdrive when you final drive is tall enough.

>Do you really want highway gears in a 2-speed auto with a 1.82 or 1.76 low?
