BREAKING NEWS:
>Japanese car manufacturers copy Germans

I think I just summed up the entire history of Japanese automobile manufacturing.

The Germans copied the French in the first place.

Genuinely curious to see some examples.

Eternal boredom, you mean? Amirite guys? Guys?

I only remember this by the guy's name because I did a paper on it in high school.

The first self-propelled vehicle was created by Nicolas Cugnot for the French army in 1765, with the intention of moving cannons around the battlefield. Powered by steam, it was total shit all around, mainly due to weight distribution (lol), but Napoleon and everyone of the time still acknowledged it for a great military achievement / engineering advancement etc.

This was of course many years before Karl Benz's advanced development with internal combustion in the late 1800s. Yet still, you never really hear about Cugnot at all. Mercedes has been very good at marketing since their start I suppose.

Step aside, son.

I was so close to buying a beautiful 99 LS last fall. The guy sold it to someone else while i was on my way to look at it.

>Could have bought that for $1,200
>Didn't have room for it
I regret everything.

>Daily drive 98 LS400.
>207,000 miles.
>Best car ever.
>Power steering pump starts humming/whining.
>Add more ATF as low.
>No difference.
>Change out fluid multiple times.
>Turn lock to lock.
>No difference.
>Change out idle up valve thingy.
>No difference.
