Don't ignore the Indian adventure, guys, come on now.
Blake Barnes
I know this is dbt but this is an active thread and it's the coldest day of the year and my bikes are put away
Will it kill my car to just idle it for a few hours to keep warm at work?
Adam Cox
You'll waste gas. But as long as you've kept up the maintenance on it, it should be fine. Even if you hadn't it'd still probably be ok.
Dominic Brooks
Thanks man I take pretty good care if it and it's also a decade old shitbox I paid $5000 for in 2010 so i shouldn't be so concerned really
Angel Hernandez
No, you shouldn't be, but it doesn't hurt to be. I assume you'll be sitting in the car? If so, I would let it warm up, alot, then turn it off until you're cold again. To save gas. But that's up to you.
Ayden Brooks
Any of y'all got qualms with me riding a drz400 with offroad tyres in the city? Fess up lads.
Brayden Perry
Yeah I'm just sitting g here shitposting and charging my phone I hate cars and spending money on cars so I want this beater to last
Eli White
Na But if you never go off-road why not just put street tires on? I think they're cheaper
Lincoln Campbell
what do the fellow bike anons think of the new UJM-style bikes from the big four? Kawasaki's about to put this out
I've looked at Honda's CB1100 and man, I guess they don't sell well because they are cheap as fuck for nice liter bikes that are one or two years old
they look pretty though, but I guess why would you buy this if you can just find the original UJM for 1/3 the price?

Adrian Richardson
>Even comparing R75/Zundapp to ww2era Indian/HD
>Toaster How so, it's cold up here in the north
Xavier Gutierrez
Only faggots don't have an old BMW R-series as their first bike
Ryan Thompson
No, but make sure you have some breeze to blow the exhaust fumes away.
Austin Jones
How are those to work on? I'm not part of the whole debate. I can't decide whether or not I think the bikes cool looking or not. The cylinders jutting from the side like that seems kinda odd, but in a way looks interesting.
Wyatt Williams
I would have loved to but I settled on the parallel twin adv bike
William Martinez
am I gay if I get a windscreen
Samuel Williams
>How are those to work on? Easy as shit. Everything is very reachable, especially the service areas.
You are gay for liking men.
Parker Ortiz
yeah but higher proportion of homosexuals prefer windscreens
Gavin Garcia
no maybe a little but not in a bad way driving above 55 without a windscreen fatigues you a lot, I dont blame anyone for getting a huge windscreen. I went ahead and got an aftermarket one myself
Dominic Richardson
Doesn't make you gay for getting a windscreen. People might call you a pussy, but when you commute daily, year round, a windscreen is a blessing.
Xavier Howard
Okay, I'll get a windscreen I can always take it off if I get propositioned by a lumberjack
Lincoln Cooper
>caring what other people think of you and your level of wind protection that's the real faggotry
Asher Young
second for windscreen. You can't ride in the cold without it, really. Guys who don't use windscreens probably don't do much riding when it gets cold...
John Bailey
I think it's just that everyone already know this video
Michael Hernandez
I see. Well, it was worth a shot.
Cooper Hill
For those of you that have the SV650, how quickly (if at all) did you get bored of the power? I have a 650 thumper right now and it's slow as shit (especially cruising on the highway at 130 km/h), I'm trying to decide between upgrading to an SV650 or a 600 supersport.
Michael Hill
>pulls statistics out of the ass
No.
Jordan Parker
SuperSport every day of the week.
Bentley Thompson
More of a qualm with riding such a terrible bike
Grayson Cook
you ladies winterize your bike yet?
Lucas Cooper
I’m not bored yet but I also don’t ride on highways seeking thrill from doing straight line pulls.
Ian Phillips

Joshua Brown
what did he mean by this
Isaac Martinez
You a bitch, my windscreen does nothing
Daniel Ward
that windscreen is like thrice the size of the stock windshield on my naked >does nothing sure
Bentley Bell
thinking of getting a 16" windshield for my KLR to make highway riding more bearable. Why the fuck is it $150 though? surely I could just make something myself for way cheaper. aftermarket for this bike is more than plentiful but the prices are so out of whack
Jaxon Gray
in germany I either buy cheap and get it TÜV approved myself or I pay 100+ and get one with ABE
Jackson Wilson
ur mom got my 16" to make riding more bearable lmaoooooooooooooooooooooo o
>get a bike with great aftermarket >don't like the aftermarket prices >fabricate my own shit instead >shit breaks later >go to get new from aftermarket >aftermarket doesn't exist anymore because everyone hated paying for it and made their own whimpy broken shit >bike rots in missing parts hell because you didn't support the market when you had the chance.

Levi Adams

I see you're a Rosen meme enthusiast, too. >mfw
Wyatt Turner
Yes. Rosen is a saint.
Ayden Smith
You mean like stop riding? You're just as gay as your KLR.
I don't know if I should be sorry if that's your living room or surprised you got a bike in a basement unless it's a building you built to work on and store your bikes
Mason Wright
comfy
Joshua Brooks
Anybody ever had a shifter pivot bolt fall out on them? Mine vibrated out of the threads (must have been seriously loose already) on the freeway the other day. Luckily I got stuck in 4th gear and my Thundercat could pull from a stop enough to head over to an autozone and throw a temporary bolt in there.
Henry Howard

i think they'd be more successful making smaller and mid tier bikes similar to the XSR700 although i suppose the new SV650X does something similar to that although i would say the SV650x and the xsr700 look like shit compared to the z900 and not as cool as hondas cb neo-retro line.
I think a mid tier bike from honda and kawi in the UJM style would get a lot more people ride
Kevin Ross
>haha you got to learn on a bike with more applications than my glorified scooter you got me user, I did ride a 650 until earlier this year
Michael White
>A bolt fell out. It happens often, it is best to check all the bolts every other weekend if you ride daily. Stuff falling off is the reason why you have to pass tech as tracks and use safety wire.
Asher Kelly
My garage is basement level and connected to it.
Chase Scott
I want to tell you a story. It's not bike related, so you get at least a nice webm >be me, living in a shared appartment with a girl (I think she's 19) >she's fit and pretty small, but a kind of bitchy >she is incredibly messy though: >>no cleaning >>there's constantly some stuff from her in the fridge that is moulding >>leaving shitstains in the toilet >>piling up trash in the kitchen >one day, she tells me to buy bio-degradable trash bags for the degradable trash >where she actually frequently throws plastic or metal into ok >be away for the weekend >come home, notice that she stole a chair from my room, without telling me that she entered or even bothered asking >steal it back (she put it in a room we both have access to) and from now on lock my room whenever I leave >write an evil whatsapp message to her, tell her to fucking clean her shit and don't break into my room >she gets mad and tells her mother, who happens to be my landlord >landlord searches for some ridiculous reasons: stealing her chair, obviously not getting along with her, never buying stuff that we both need (which is false), using stuff in the kitchen that wears out, using the salt and not filling it up, asking why I was so indignant by her asking me to buy bio-degradable trash bags >only as an excuse to "offer" me an annulation of the lease contract they obviously want my room back for some other reason and so it happens that I'm now looking for rooms again, hopefully something where I can start living from January on fucking whores, both of them

are those all hookers?
Luis Evans
It's different and i don't like it If you're a shitter you can get one on any bike, but it's completely useless on a shitty low-comp ptwin
Adam Murphy
Ah neat, sounds like it's a nice workshop to use
Brandon Long
My friend has a ninja 300 and if he takes turns to fast and leans he says it vibrates really bad, if anyone knows why he'd like to know it's a 07 I believe
Jason Roberts
I agree

there isn't an 07 ninja 300 it was introduced in 2012.
in any case the ptwin on the 300/250 is really vibey anyways. Unless its "literally shaking" we're gonna need more information.
