the games until 5 were designed for the PC-98 platform, which would require an emulator. It's recommended you start either with the sixth (first Windows game) or the second game (as the first one isn't a bullet hell) and work your way up from there
some games aren't your usual bullet hells but should be played anyway

7.5, 10.5, 12.3, 13.5, 14.5: Fighting games
The others follow the basics of the bullet hell genre but usually add a game play twist.

Nah, but some else made a thread 25 at one point because they got pissy about something. That's why 26 links to 24, 25 got made way too early to compete with 24 and sunk.

Well, the full story is that one of these threads died, so when the next one was made, they used it's number. Someone too umbrage at that, stating that just because it died early doesn't mean it never happened (which seems to be how things operate, since everyone more or less agreed and the OP apologized for being new). For the next few threads, however, rather than correcting the issue with the thread number by adding 1, they just kept with a linear progression, which caused someone to sperg out more and more each thread until he had the chance to make the thread himself.

So, that's that. Really a trifling matter that nobody should actually care about.
