Im having a probelm with Modular Powersuits, despite being in my mods folder and being checked, it doesnt seem to be loading at all into the game (it doesn't appear in NEI and i can't spawn it in via commands)

The easiest way would be going here, and downloading either of the two launchers.

You should get the ready modpack with configurations. Be warned that I haven't used it in almost two years, it might not be finished, will most likely never be (unless there is interest). But it works and is fun to play.
The pack also includes CraftHeraldry updated to 1.7.10, check NEI or scripts directory for recipes. I sadly am not sure where the sources I updated are, so the version of Vazkii's GitHub for 1.6.* might be the only source. Other than that, all mods you should be able to get elsewhere in updated versions or something, if you care.
From the core mods in the modpack there are Thaumcraft and Botania. Highlands as the worldgen.
The weeb mods are 五つの難題MOD+ (Touhou Mod), Bamboo (+ GrowthCraft Bamboo), MapleTree, AppleMilkTea2, littleMaidMobX (+ addons), Slashblade, Hostile Mobs and Girls, and Grimoire of Waifu.
There's also a bunch of buildfag stuff, like Chisel and Carpenter's Blocks.
Oh, and it's Pirate Friendly. Just click the play offline button or something, I don't remember.

That was was neat, don't remember the other.
Haven't personally played it much but every time I was on a server with it the other players always raved about it. The bugs looked pretty good if i remember, the world they generated was neat, and you could collect then breed the little buggers.
