The funny thing is those 907s were fantastic bikes, they finally fixed the Paso and no one cared, reliable (extremely so for an early 90's Ducati) comfy, fast ish, handled well if a bit heavy. But absolutely no one wants them.

Nah. Chin bar isn't as effective as you think. One problem with the chin bar is that impact energy is transmitted to the brain through the chin strap. Hitting face first in a full-face helmet can do more brain damage than hitting face first in an open fce helmet.

Also, check your chinbar. Does it have an EPS bump liner to absorb kinetic energy? If not, it will just transfer impact energy into your face.
