But that's how Engineering works most of the time. Rarely is there some huge leap in technology or revolutionary change in design.. It's about tweaking what we can do today and making it as good as can be.

Its the greatest sports car the US has ever made. It will probably only gain poularity as time goes on, because soon itll all be electric and cars and people will be nostalgic for good old fashioned huge displacement internal combustion engines. And nothing represents that more than a viper.

Slower than a Vette, Harder to modify, less comfy, less reliable, shittier mpg's. The Corvette is just better overall hence why it sells way the fuck more and you can actually still buy it. I don't know why everybody gets a boner over it.

Corvettes just aren't special, and never will be no matter how objectively good they are. Nothing else is really like the Viper, it stands alone.
