You have yet to bring up a counterpoint though.

Tanks could do so much more than they can today, even the bad ones. Now you have classes like warrior that can't do anything other than deal damage. That role is worthless since to utilize it you need to be tanking damage and drawing attention. Thus, they're only good for engages and nothing else, with the exception of paladin who can heal AND divert a huge sum of damage.

Instead of instituting a logical means for every role to shine you have these half baked classes with a tenth of their abilities going in and mashing one button. Great fun. Guess I can see why retards love it.

Does anyone know how the bomb mechanic works on O2S?

In the video I watched it looks like when he leaps on the stack, the people with bomb debuff standing by the outside get knocked back into the wall and detonate there but when my group was doing it they didn't get knocked back and just blew up the group right after the stack damage.

Honestly I would rule it out. Where else are we going to get our primal fights? Heavensward had the Warring Triad properly foreshadowed from as early as 3.0, but nothing in Stormblood yet.
