I use a hitbox but might be helpful, 3rd and 4th buttons top row are 1+2 and 1+4, and 3rd and 4th buttons bottom row are 3+4 and 2+3 respectively. I don't care enough about grabs as I rarely use them. I make a lot less mistakes after adapting to these inputs.

Because I literally just want to play a quick match. If you want to do long sets, that's the entire purpose of rooms.

rooms are worse for long sets than quick match. rooms you have to re load everything between matches. The only place that doesn't happen and you can rematch forever is quick match. Quick matches are for sets.

Feeling it, I spent about 140 hours purely using 1234 but after adapting to these new inputs my combos are a lot more consistent. I think it's a must as well for playing Akuma. I can't imagine at this stage FAD cancelling by using 1+2 separately.
I fuck up way less with Yoshimitsu too.

Nah, one and done or best of 3 seems to be entirely based on preference. The only one that seems fairly universally is don't salty 1-1, because almost no one likes ending on a tie.
