That's pretty crap honestly. you'll want high attack speed to apply 4+ Bleeds consistently and then, if you're using a high APS weapon, your damage is probably lower, so you're applying weaker Bleeds. This is, if anything, probably too weak on top of making it too similar to Poison.

who even wrote off on this to allow it to encroach on poison? I don't mean in terms of damage since bleed will be bad but in terms of theme.

You're not thinking of overlaying hits. Think Sunder which hits multiple times and can potentially apply a stack each.

Yeah obviously you build around MoM/Cloak, it's not just a "equip it and done" unique, but it's still a stat-padding one. Just because it allows you to reroute your survivability resources to both life and mana doesn't change your gameplay. If you have a 6k buffer plus a 2k buffer, and similar recovery, you're playing the same build as one with 8k buffer.

If I can get 8k buffer without Cloak, but the latter is more efficient for any given reason (gear/passive tree efficiency), then it's just stat padding; my gear and tree planning are adapted as a consequence, but my gameplay isn't.

Tinker gives frenzies and phasing and life/es on trap related actions, the whole package is unique and not something you can replicate anywhere else on the tree. I don't play trappers so I don't care enough to think about the potential builds it enables but it's unique.

Most uniques giving benefits on triggers (on block, on charge consumed, on trap triggered, etc.) are 'unique'. Most uniques giving benefits that can be translated as raw +EHP aren't.

On bosses, sunder hits once

against mobs, they're all dead in one hit anyways so the bleed is fucking moot

Scion in 3.0 gets frenzy charges generation on par with Raider against rares and bosses :^)

I haven't tried but I'd imagine you will have a really bad time in red maps without the colossal damage boost from it, since even with it the damage starts dropping off considerably at that point with proper map mods
