What is the cutoff for a car to be pigfat?

What is the cutoff for a car to be pigfat?
Is it 1000 kg or 900 kg or 800 kg or is it even lower?

>sports car
3300lbs unless it has serious power to back it up

>literally anything else
4000lbs unless it has serious TECHNOLOGY to back it up

My car is 3350lb and 330hp how fucked am i?

twingo might not be obese but she most definitely looks chubby.

My car weighs 1020kg, is it pigfat?

everything over 1200kg is pigfat

it's baby fat

That is pretty heavy...

>3700 lbs
>95 hp
Aaaàaaaaaaaaa

>1900 hp
>68 hp

>1900 hp

If you lose 20 kilos of body fat you can still be in the club.

*lbs

1300 lbs or 590kg for third worlders

My car is 4600 and 250hp

1420 kg or some lb s for 4th world faggets

Anything heavier than 1100kg and wider than 1750mm is pigfat, no exceptions. The rule though is that for every 1000kg you need at least 125hp in order for your weight to be acceptable. However, cars below 900kg may have much less power to keep true to their excellent economy aspect.

Anything under 100hp better be under 800lbs.
(or 800kg if you're a noguns)

>v6 mustang is ~1600kg
>305hp
It's official, boys. The v6 mustang is now Veeky Forums-approved

By that logic, both the Hellcat and Demon aren't pigfat. As a Mopar enthusiast, I disagree. Fat cars are fat. Don't make excuses for landyachts. Find joy in their obesity.

They are still pigfat.

H1 isn't pigfat. It's what it's supposed to be. H2 is pigfat and H3 too.

>1250kg
>111HP
How fucked am i?

860kg (measured, not the bullshit claims) with half a tank of gas and 90hp.

Still pretty shit, imo.

to me 2700-2800

I drive a MR2 Spyder

Almost 28 hp per hp

hello tea sipping lotus shill

Anything over 3000lbs

Tbh it's more about the looks than size/weight. You could have big cars which weren't pigfat and nowadays you can have light cars which are.

>The rule though is that for every 1000kg you need at least 125hp
>You can weigh 10 tonnes so long as you have 1250hp

Weight and power-to-weight-ratio, has never crossed my mind when I call something pigfat. To me, its a visual thing. It just needs to be unnecessary tall, wide or overall pointlessly chunky.

Like this goddamn thing.

quick post hp / weight ratio

my shitbox: 12,722222
how fucked I am

in kg not retarded measures

30hp to the wheels, measuring in American.

In physics: power to weight ratio. Where that line is drawn, I don't know.

In aesthetics: if the lines and proportions look unnecessarily bulky.

There is no weight cutoff.

If a car is unnecesarily large or heavy, it is PIGFAT.

For example pic related is pigfat

Whereas for its function, pic related is not pigfat

>Anything heavier than 1100kg and wider than 1750mm is pigfat, no exceptions
So, most Ferraris.

This man is right. First gen Twingo is always delightfully plump

I don't think width should be relevant to the pigfat-ness. The S2 Lotus Elise/Exige is close to the 1750mm cutoff, and it is one of the least pigfat cars you can buy.

ferarris are pigfat now?

Well, I guess my FC is pigfat :(

Yeah das it. Heavy cars are comfy.
It’s the ratio of a cars weight to its unsprung weight that greatly affects its ride comfort

>weight alone doesn't matter
>what is inertia

Enjoy going around corners.

Why is this not the perfect economy car?
>turbo
>suzuki reliability
>great handling for a FWD hatch
>torque converter instead of CVT

>Tfw my 5 series isn’t pigfat

This one is better.

I propose we stop using pigfat just for weight. There are some pretty light cars which could be much lighter if they weren't unecessarily gigantic. The AMG GT for example is quite heavy but it is the right size for a sportscar.

Cars with any safety gear are pigfat

My Vw golf mk4 is 1100 kg with 75 hp, so thats the ultimate pigfat car imo

>torque converter instead of CVT
I don't understand people who buy superminis in automatic.

hp
go to bed 9ff enaugh with shitposting

I dont understand people that buy anything in automatic. How do you not fall asleep while the car is driving itself?

They do.
It's why there's so many dumbfucks on the road.

Maybe because they aren't enthusiasts and just want to get to work in as little effort as possible

Tfw when 1050 kg and 125 hp.

>Tfw when

might as well ride a bus at that point

>this LADA back

Is 4112 lbs pigfat?

see it's more of an aesthetic rather than just the numbers

Nah, they'd say that's going to far.
>I need my own car, despite not giving a fuck about driving

>tfw the exhaust pipes of your products are even corroded in the promo pics

JUST

same
If your spyder doesn\t weigh less than a ton its pigfat

Wrong

> inb4 lol made in mexico

I have a 2006 Saab 9-5 estate. It has 8,11 hp to the kg, as you say. But it's 1780 mm wide. I never thought of the Saab 9-5 as pigfat. It looks so sleek.

This looks horrid. I only see blondes driving white ones. Never saw a man driving this. This is like the Kia Sportage in horribleness

350z?

Pig fat or big boned?

That’s about right. The ‘11 and newer are really quick. More so than other comparable cars like the 86/brz, gti, Gen C, and Miata.

>700kg
>65hp

Dimensions don’t me so much to me, I’m more concerned about power to weight ratio. That’s the important thing. If the wight:whp and weight: lb/ft are both above 11:1 then the vehicle in question is ok.

Some people use crank horsepower for the ratio, but I think that is just to make themselves feel better

I spoke on the ratio incorrectly. You want it to be 11:1 or LOWER. Less pounds per HP is good.

My modern supermini is 900kg, and it's got a tech level roughly equivalent to my mother's 15 year old Civic.

>800lbs. (or 800kg if you're a noguns)
nice
