>What should I do with the armour/weapons I don't want/use? Purple/Blue = Disassemble (Then use the blue mats to forge a purple if you have enough) Yellow/White = Sell or you can give it to the kodamas for amrita and the odd free item.
>What does the summoning candle do? It returns your guardian spirit to you when you die along with the amrita you collected.
>Should I use soul match? Honestly, no, not unless you have basically finished the game and have a weapon with some really great stats. As you progress you will get a steady flow of new weapons and armour that is better than what you have. Don't waste your money on soul matching until later.
>Why do people keep mentioning "smithing texts"? Bosses tend to drop pieces of their armour and weapons when you defeat them. Very rarely they will drop a smithing text which allows you to forge their armour/weapon.
>Which clan should I join? (clan unlocked through progression) Whichever one has a bonus that you think will benefit your build the most.
Ton of new shit has happened whilst you faggots were gone >Umbracite is now a thing. Use it to pick the Reforges you want >Silabar ingots are also now a thing. Forge them at the blacksmith with Patronage points for a makeshift soulstone >Can now use patronage to Soul match. You can now use those extra levels Old man or Waifu wouldn't accept >Clans have improved stats across the board. Equipment can now be traded for Honour using the 'Donations' function
Thoughts on tonfas? I think they're pretty worthless.
Robert Powell
pretty bad if you're fighting a mob
Justin Butler
YEA WE ARE BACK SENPAI
Tyler Reyes
bump for mothfu
Hudson Reyes
Are there only 2 transformations in this DLC?
Samuel Morgan
new difficulty only?
Andrew Jones
aside from the tonfas , are there more new wepons? for kat dual kats axe...etc new armors? i havent touched nioh since the firs dlc how do i get the material that let me roll for specific stats?
Leo Parker
Is there only one set bonus for all the new rarity items wtf?
Nathaniel Morris
m8 you can't just bring the general back without telling anyone can't play the DLC yet but looked at the trophy list earlier, it's nice that they didn't add new trophies for WotW and instead we got some challenge conditions for boss fights. And they made unlocking things on WotD easier too.
Jose Ortiz
there's different set bonuses for different deities
Mason Cox
Yea
Gabriel Evans
So has anyone fought Kojiro yet? Is he a generic NPC or did they put effort into him?
Joshua Richardson
how do i unlock way of the wise
Joseph Rivera
He's in a side mission. You can't transform into him unfortunately.
Cameron Gomez
complete way of the demon i think
Aaron Morgan
>odachi for crowd control >tonfa for single target dps and status procs Who else is getting comfy with new weapon?
Kevin Powell
they're never going to finish Goemon are they
David Lopez
How the fuck do I finish this fox spirit mission? I've placed orbs into every pedestal but the door at the end still says its locked.
Evan Powell
how did I do, photo of a monitor aside
Andrew Howard
I am so fucking retarded nevermind
Asher Parker
God fucking damnit just imagining how good axe I can get is making me excited. Back to grinding.
Jackson Garcia
still way too many flaws to come back desu
Aiden Campbell
Anyone know how WotW fucks you over increases difficulty? Now the WotD restrictions are down I can (try to) kill TriKelley to get to it, just wondering what will be new.
Mothfu is teased but you can't get her >mfw
2 transformations, but 3 poses as well. Expect 2 females and some little bitch dude next DLC from the story.
We know
Lies
Fits in better with the spear. >Spear for CC >Tonfa for Single >Both scale Body I wonder what the next weapon is anyhow, especially if it scales off Stamina.
Charles Sanders
I'll give you one more chance at posting user Just one more
Nolan Sullivan
Fucking spoilers.
John Nelson
>tfw Nioh isn't cancerous enough for Veeky Forums anymore
Carter Murphy
>Mothfu is teased but you can't get her >>mfw
old man spirit was teased last time as well and we're getting him now so maybe in the final dlc?
Henry Fisher
>Tonfa + Onmyo build Y/N
Jonathan Wright
all divine shit is useless now that there's ethereal gear
Mason Richardson
Hey guys just finished DLC, wondering which of the Tonfa mystic arts are better. Apocalypse (Atk up on consecutive) seems nice especiallyy with the Demon dance combos, but Kannagi (Cancel with Demon Dance) could either be infinitely better or brokenly worse depending on its interaction/fluidity. And no, I don't have 14 Skill points to waste to find out
Why is she on the trailer image, but not Oldman Sachs? Turns out he's an Octopus . Pretty bummed out she isn't in, yet again and now she is a Wind spirit instead of a Ligtning spirit for some reason.
David Torres
not true, all ethereal gear is grouped into a few different set bonuses and not the normal ones. They aren't a straight replacement.
Juan Thomas
Yin Yang Tonfa have innate Onmyo A scaling, so yeah its as viable as 2Kat Onmyo builds
Nolan Butler
Do you know where I can get those? I fell in love with the tonfas the moment I saw the grapple animation and now I really fucking want to do a hybrid build with them.
Camden Johnson
Is silabar ingot busted? I can't shove my amrita in and i could before the DLC, there's just no fucking option inside the menu now
Jaxson Wilson
>be me >New armour sets >Ooo_a_Dragon_looking_one.jpeg >Heavy >5 pieces bonus >+1500 Life Dear god the armourfags really are gonna be unkillable now.
The Sarutobi set also has a cool effect, they can't be parried when using Tonfa at 4 pieces.
And has anyone figured out how to do the secret attack on the Sarutobe Tonfa?
Eli Roberts
this is actually a really good dlc why is there barely any buzz for it at all?
Gabriel Jackson
>Start a new tonfa only character >Break Onryoki's ki 4 times throughout the fight Is this the new fuck your ki weapon?
Dominic King
is this dlc as short as the last?
also, can anyone tell me the tonfa base scaling? really hoping it has C+ or better in stamina
Jose Cruz
>Stamina >When the entire weapon is based around wearing the lightest armor possible nope
Brody Bailey
I am tempted to say the main story seems even shorter but there are more sidemissions.
Tonfa scales mostly with Skill, then Body and Dexterity.
Bentley Miller
>even shorter wew so much for Nioh > DS3 then
Levi Williams
nioh is already better than ds3 without any dlc
Parker Gutierrez
Well to be fair it's still longer than Ashes of Ariandel. And unlike DaS3 Nioh still has one DLC to be released.
Jaxon Edwards
disappointing
if only it was based around highest agility instead of lightest armor
Jackson Phillips
They come as random drops, but right now you're looking at a guaranteed reward for the 'Dance of the Yokai' mission. Seems viable, especially if you use the DDance combo to proc a status. From experience, all three stances can proc superfast, so try to stick to High or Mid stance to get some damage in there. I only say Mid at all because High stance can be a bit finiky at times with a locked-in one direction strong attack. Unless there is something I am missing, stay off low stance.
Because it's had relatively little adspace. Doesn't matter, DL3 is gearing up to be a bigger one whilst simultaneously bringing in the GotY edition fags
Yes, but you get locked in place when DDancing, which means most enemies can deal substantial damage to you without you being able to do anything in return.
Bit shorter still-not sure how WotW is yet however, but it doesn't sound like a flat NG+++ on the surface. Tonfa is Body scaling, so the Stamina weapon will be in DL3.
Ethan Harris
what's the best way to farm divine fragments if you're stuck in offline node?
Christian Edwards
>Unless there is something I am missing
Low Stance is by far the most reliable way to dispose of those fox Yokai but other then that yeah it's useless.
Jacob Watson
Man you get some 10/10 leg action with Okatsu and tonfas
Gavin Howard
>that grapple animation
wew
Logan Gomez
ok so what stuff is shared among all save files again I'm considering starting a new character
Austin Hernandez
just glory and pvp stats i think
I also started a new file just yesterday and it's a very different experience from a level 300 with all kodamas, locks and prestige.
If you don't think you'll get bored starting from 0, I'd recommend it. You forget what it's like starting out.
Noah Garcia
>When Zombies and Skeletons are a threat again and Onryoki is boss tier >Hino-Enma is still as hard as before Wow, that gets the ol' noggin joggin
Chase Jenkins
How's the new difficulty? Does everything have retarded amounts of HP?
Blake Young
do missions on wod and check the special finds you ca but from 10 to 40 or more
Kayden Butler
*you can buy*
William Hughes
live dammit
Julian Martin
Nioh still proving how little people care about it I see. And there's the usual people that get mad when you say Dark Souls III was better (and it is, MUCH better) too.
Samuel Wood
(You)
Jayden Ramirez
is there another save corruption bug with the new dlc? kinda worried about starting it considering what happened the first time around, though I made a backup has anyone done a full onmyo mage build? those new shots look breddy gud, though I'm not to keen on respeccing just yet
Ian Turner
Honestly I've no idea how to proceed. I have finished Way of the strong and I've been grinding for armor so I could deal with Demon, but everything kills me way too easily. I have 4k health and 3k defense.
Blake Garcia
...
Thomas Stewart
Can't say much about save corruption, seems fine, worked OK with me.
New Onmyo shit -All shots get a second spell on the tree >Fire shot V2=Explosive Fire shot >Water shot V2=Linear line of lingering damage pools. Good for area denial. >Lightning shot V2=Linear tracking line of strong damage thunder strikes, like a Nue attack. Only problem is that it will have a moderate delay before it will hit the enemy due to the thinderbolts ovcuring one at a time in a line from you to them. >Wind Shot V2=5 higher damage wind shots form a perpendicular line and fire simoultaneously. Basically a straight upgrade and is less easy to dodge. >Earth shot V2=Large moderate damage pulse around the player which lingers for half a second. Probs the best of the 5.
And 4 new talisman >Hermit=Huge Def down for infinite poise. Basically makes heavy armour builds unstunnable, with a moderate amount of armour left. >Leech=Drains health for a huge Atk up. Very good magic, can be completely mitigated by Regen talisman or Tanuki guardian. >[Ki one]=Nearly prevents all Ki regen for about 40 seconds, then gives giga Ki regen for about 40 seconds. Does what it says on the can, good against bosses/things you can prepare for. Very good once it gets going. >[The other Ki one]=Heavy Atk down for Huge Ki damage increase. Seems to be more co-op as the constant breaks are nice, however the Atk down prevents a single player from capitalising on it. Kara-Jishi, Powerpill and Carnage talisman seem to just mitigate the Atk down-bit at that point why use the talisman in the first place. Definitely more OP in Co-op.
Perhaps we will see a Onmyo counterpart of the Kunaispammers sometime soon.
Luis Carter
yo, I got another question, how easy is it to clear through the NG+ difficulties now? it said they relaxed the requirements I kinda wanna bumrush ng+ and ng++ so I can start getting the orange loot
Wyatt Miller
is there still no onmyo set?
Carson Thomas
Is Maria available as a transform yet or is it still only asian people?
Brody Diaz
>Can be completely mitigated by regeb talisman
Yeah no, i tried that and the life drain is bigger than the regeneration
Bentley Jackson
How do I unlock the newest difficulty? Do I really have to beat every single mission on demon to do it?
Colton Fisher
Use Suppa/Catwalking/TigerRun to skip most enemies, do all the bosses you can, then Co-Op one of the Omi region missions to get the highest end loot for that difficulty. If a boss is OKHO'ing you, a there is no shame in popping a Quick-Change scroll for that singular encounter. Easily the hardest challenge in both NG+/++ is soloing TriKelley on the The Queens Eyes mission. Bash your head against a wall for 4hrs, beat them then use the loot from the next difficulty to clear up the harder missions on the previous difficulty. Bishbashbosh.
Pic related. Popularity does not necesarrily mean fidelity. The Minions move commecially did much better than the Shawn the Sheep movie, however one is appealing to an audinece of easily appeasable, braindead buffoons; the other had a stop-motion sheep in it. Also, you forgot your tripcode Lucy
Jaxson Brown
>co-op I've never gotten PS+ nor am I ever planning on it so it's just the main missions that I gotta beat, then? fug :-DDDDD some of those later missions were really fuckin annoying, like sen's funhouse 2.0
Jonathan Hernandez
>Suppa/Catwalking/TigerRun to skip most enemies Thanks. Never even crossed my mind.
Oliver Carter
you don't need catwalking scrolls
enemies don't hear you even if you're sprinting 2 feet away from them
Kayden Price
Remember to use rat spirit for the ridiculous A+ stealth.
Adrian Martinez
>was having a blast playing Nioh >had to stop because of work, family visiting, CEUs >this was about four months ago >don't have the motivation to even start it up any more
I know it's fun, and I know I'd have a blast again if I'd just get into it, but starting it up again feels like a drag for some reason.
Austin Cook
Only chinks. New transforms are the Red dude on the cover and a new ninja. Looks like Maria and another chink will be transforms in DL3 anyhow.
I meant Regen and Tanuki, not Regen or Tanuki. I would imagine, though impractical Oasis would also be enough to combo with Regen to overcome it. Either way, Regen mitigates a good portion of it.
Only Queens Eyes. Just rush the minimum requirements.
Nah, side missions are just as valuble to push the little blue bar along. Some of them can be basically skipped by Suppa/Catwalk/TigerRun. On top of that, certain bosses are much easier compared to the lategame, namely Onryoki, Centipede1, Okatsu, Hino (if you know what you are doing) and Spiderchick. Sens' croakery set is quite cheesable and Froggo ain't as bad as some of the others, such as Umibozu, Ogress or Nue.
Don't abuse it. It may engender passivity. Also enemies will still be able to detect you if you 'touch them', making enemies that block gates a pain in the arse as they are near guaranteed a hit on you if you ain't careful. Instead use the magic conch to lure them away, then sprint past them and pray to god the next area ain't full of enemies waiting for you
Perhaps leave it til DL3? I mean, you'll get to play the whole Osaka campaign without any burnout. No harm in leaving a game for a bit of cooldown.
Jordan Phillips
man WoeW is such bullshit holy fuck is the balancing off.
Carson Martinez
Just one mission for every region and the queen eyes one
Gavin Young
Fucking copy and paste and crash and shutdown and grrrr
Robert Butler
>Only Queens Eyes Thank god. I already have that available.
Benjamin Gutierrez
What does it do? I know WotSt increases all enemy stats, WotD does that and gives certain enemies buffs, but what does WotW do now?
Gavin Morgan
I mean, pretty much the whole game would be fresh. I didn't beat it, when I stopped, I had just moved to the second land mass. I assume that's still really early game.
Wyatt Russell
>He thinks it's gonna be that simple Ahhh, thoust sweet summer child. Wait 'til TriKelley gangbangs you to prep you for a beefed up tenacle porn episode. 4 hours wasn't a joke. Providing you ain't running a scummy build
Bentley Clark
even more buffs for enemies more red mobs and many dlc enemies instead the normal mobs oh and dont forget everything 1 shots you
Bentley Cooper
>Pick up Axe of Amaterasu. >Gives more damage for less armour. >Been running around in nothing but pants and shoes since the end of he game anyway. My time has come.
Sebastian Cooper
3 kellys is easy as fuck , just shoot the kelly on the right and he will come alone and the rest will be stuck on the wall gitgud
Easton Thompson
>1 shots Mechanically or because you aren't armourscumming? Either way it's better than just Dark Souls 'le stats increase' NG+, so ther's that.
I feel you, you need to be in a certain state of mind to enjoy Nioh without being disheartened. Either way at region 2, you have 4 other regions, 2 DLC regions and 1 yet to come in DL3. I would say leave it as is until DL3 comes around, but if not at least stop before the DLC. It is a notable step harder and expects you to have NG+/++ weapons to progress with ease.
And just a hunch, if you are struggling with Umi-Bozu, light all the fires outside the boss (One is behind a fake wall in the centre room), get the middle shrine as your respawn and use fire damage on Umi-without putting out the big torches. He is probably one of the hardest bosses in the game, so don't sweat it if you take a while.
Matthew Mitchell
>+Revenant transform
>gitgud I did though. It only took 4 hours and I didn't have to resort to AI scumming. Perhaps you could get on my level and do it properly. See, now I can make it sound like I did an honourable 3v1 instead of screaming aloud why god has forsaken me-unaware of the AIscum at the time
Grayson Cruz
I think we can all agree the best thing about the DLC is that you can choose to make the Shoulderbelt invisible in the game settings.
Jaxson Wood
so the nioh set the normal not the golden one can be dropped from mobs or revenants? i got some parts but i dont know how
Easton Martin
If you're talking about the Blue Nioh set, you can get it by fighting any Revenant with the gear on.
Logan Davis
But that room provides many refills for living weapon.
