So what's the point of playing ranked? The games are harder, and to be decent you have to invest many consistant hours daily to maintain and improve.

Even the improvement process doesnt seem worth it. Up until diamond at least, players do so much wrong, and are playing with equally bad players that there's no real way to determine if your win is a fluke or a genuine success.
