There's still shitty ideas like 50/50 gorilla gamble characters like Laura, Balrog and Zangief which are legitimately bad design, the UI could use some tweaking and the netcode isn't great but as a whole, it's worth playing now.

Mostly because of the size of its community relative to those fighters and how easy it is to pick up and develop an opinion for. You have to get though a steep learning curve before you can really say you like playing Guilty Gear, SFV has a much lower barrier to entry.
