Yeah this is a Porsche flavored A6. Its not really fast and the S6 is tunable to 540 hp, has better interior and overall is a top of the line touring car.
This is just Porsche making money to fund 911 rsrs and other projects.

The Panamera and A6 are on entirely different platforms, which you should easily be able to tell by the fact that the Panamera's 2WD versions are RWD, whereas the A6's 2WD versions are FWD.
The Panamera also handles so much better it's not even funny.

Side note, the new Bentley Continental will be on the Panamera's platform as opposed to the old VW Phaeton platform or its MLB successor.

For comparison, the RS7. Note how much further forward the engine and transmission sit.
