I'm Italian and the only reason those FCA abominations are sold is because they are slightly cheaper than the others.

Sure giggino now I start gathering all the paper from 30 years of times to prove I'm right.
While you keep paying for your FCA's Alfa Romeo Giulietta™ I've bought an old ford focus and thanks to Fiat Certified Unrealiability™ i thought it was normal for a car to go at least once a year to the mechanic for repait, but after 3 years without even a rattle maybe that idea isn't so right.

Who knows...probably never.

I think in Fiat they have no idea about what they're doing, since they literally split their products in two lines: 500 family (500, L, L wagon and X) and the Tipo which is "low cost".

The Punto is a rotting corpse, even if it's still a very valid car nowadays, even with the absence of nannies. 8000€ for a 1.2 Punto is a great deal for someone who wants an honest car to go from A to B everyday.

This is not irony in my book, it's called stupidity.

It isn't since they depreciate like hell, so you find a mint one at sale price definitely get it (of course if it's ok and doesn't have gremlins) and have plenty of fun like some other user did here.

Just one thing to be aware of: the NA market Fiat and Abarth are produced in Mexico and therefore the quality of the interior could be a bit lower (the engine comes from Italy). The European abarth and Fiat 500 are well made.

Traded my 500 Abarth in a week ago. The car itself I don't miss, because of what I have now, but I didn't think I'd miss that damned exhaust note so badly.

The owner of my company drives a fully loaded 5 Series and has a Ferrari f458 but most of the time when he doesn't need to do shit outside the company visiting customers and dealing with other companies he comes driving his (fully loaded) Abarth 595 Turismo with leather interior and record monza.
He told me he fucking loves that little thing and he has more fun in it than in the Ferrari, not because the latter is a bad car but because it's too powerful to have fun on normal roads while the Abarth has just the right power and you can trash 2-3 gears without ending at 200 km/h.

I actually trust him.
