you're going to need to get an older one that isn't as well loved, and near the top end of your budget. wranglers are very desirable and hold their value like nothing else in the industry
Wranglers in this price range look like shit, if I'm going wrangler, I would rather buy it new fully loaded later down the road.

also, the post 06 wranglers aren't really much of a wrangler anymore but girls woin't know the difference and they are more comfortable to daily

I could budget in another 3-5k for repairs.
Final decision is to get a 2008 Accord V6. Car is plenty fast and will save me money and time. It will be clean and shiny at all times and it's a decently new coupe.
