>hurrrr americans cant drive in snow
Alot of places in the US gets quite hefty winters you know

Ofc. Where do you live that you think it snows more than anywhere in the US? It’s not all Texas over here

>Bodymore, Murderland

Not on your life. 3 inches of snow essential shuts everything government related down. A foot or more is a natural disaster that typically takes at least 3 days to recover.

Pic related it was three days before I could drive up to the boulevard up there.

It actually snows in Texas, too. Really, every state in the US has gotten and can get snow.

Alaska here. People forget how to drive in the snow when it first snows, but then people get a little wiser. You just have to drive slowly.

Yes. I have to drive this road 4-5 days/week for work. During the winter, you can count on significant snowfall at least 2-3 times a week.

i drive a FWD shitbox so even if my all-season tires slip, all it does is understeer, and that only happens at a higher gear so no crazy oversteer even if i let off the throttle. I can't go any faster than 40mph though because winter tires are like $1000 a set which is a quarter how much my car costs, that's silly for only a couple weeks of snowing a year.

so cal here,

no i would dead

I have snow tires and a 4wd. I've lived most of my life in New England. Of course I can drive in winter. I've driven from Maine to New york during a massive snow storm in a Crown Vic with all seas tires. Took me 16 hours, but I made it.

North michigander
They hevent plowed my road in a week. It is now sheer ice.

Why is American infrastructure and government so bad?

just went for a comfy donut session in the rust bucket mr2

It's quite ridiculous in one of the most northern capitals, Stockholm, Sweden if it gets 4 cm of snow there will be large headlines in the papers *The extreme snowstorm hits Stockholm* and all train/buses stop going, they send live tv updating the status of the traffic. It's the same thing every fucking year.

Liberal Government

I dunno, can you drive in this?

I mean like yeah but some more than others. the south gets completely fucked because they just aren't used to snow, meanwhile things up north dont get too crazy.

Yes

is this supposed to be difficult? Mild snow with asphalt showing, that's ezmodo.
>t. done 120 mph on 3 inches of snow overlayed on rough ice during -20c

I miss driving in snow. My weak awd shitbox would come alive in the snow and you just drove sideways everywhere. Now it only comes alive the few times it rains.

Fuck user, questions like this Im frightfully curious if even most Canadians can even drive in snowstorms. First snowstorm of the year I drove by no less then a half dozen curbed vehicles, couple fender benders and even a couple vehicles flipped over in the ditch all on my way out of town. A normally 10 minute drive that took 45 minutes cause people went fuck nuts crazy ermahgerd its snowing!

Grew up in New England
3' of snowfall last night? Well shit, get the broom, brush off the truck, go to work.

I moved down South a few years back. 1" of snow and everything is shut down for 3 days

i live in central indiana we don't get very much snow but every now and then we get ICE STORMS which make no fucking sense, it will be 15 degrees out, RAIN, and then everything is coated in a clear layer of rock hard and smooth ice, and it never happens on my day off and i always end up having to drive in it and it's scary as fuck

We don't get much snow in south burgerland, we hardly get any at all. But if I'm correct, driving in snow is like driving in wet weather?

weather.gov/ind/feb012011storm this was the worst weather i ever experienced. mars had better weather than us. swore i'd move south but i'm still here

The asphalt is showing because that's a parking lot between two large buildings that is regularly plowed. The road is circled.

That's very impressive and all but you're not going to get one over on me in a dickwaving contest about shitty winters when I'm from the Keewenaw Peninsula. We get more snow here than fucking Anchorage.

yes

>mfw driving home to Sudbury yesterday

>Hwy 400 is a disaster
>barely any snow and not snowing
>still light out
>bumper to bumper traffic, cars sliding everywhere, accidents galore
>took almost half an hour to go a few exits
>past Barrie, Hwy 69
>snowing hard, can't see the road or tire tracks, no plows
>dark as fuck
>everyone out is doing 80+, nobody sliding at all
>made regular time

Why can't Southerners drive in the snow?

Because toronto retards dont run snow tires

Evo VIII with nasty winter treads....doing 70mph , sideways, on tight twisty secondary unplowed roads with a foot of snow... Its awesome, and you know no one else will be out there!

>Can americans drive
No.
