M4 - Coupe of the year

Coupe of the year by EVO
EVO says that the M4 Competition Package beat the Audi RS5 and Mercedes-AMG C63 S in their Supertest (evo 241) and is now good enough to be mentioned in the same breath as the iconic E30 M3.

>Needs a $5500 sport package just to compete with its M2 little brother.

Pathetic.

Deserved. Nice pick.

>coupe of the year
EVO is ded.

>posts a land barge

>trusting review sites to give an accurate review

LOLOLOLOLOLO

EVO used to be my absolute go to in terms of auto reveiws but I feared it may have lost its charm when all the big names left.

Is it still as good as it used to be? their journalism used to be top notch, emotional stuff

What's the difference between these? Sorry I'm not much into bimmers

M4 is based off a larger model, its a heavier car that outputs more power. Whereas the M2 is the smaller, cheaper one

Who else should you trust on giving accurate reviews except car journalists??

>predator

>bi turbo
>in same breath as e30

lol. shill page. LC500 is better anyway

LC500 is a slow 4400 lbs luxury tourer kys

How fast is the 0 to interior falling apart time?

The interior is better quality than C63

M4 is a big fuckin land barge with twin tarbos and has a stupid ass water cooler in the trunk, while the M2 is a sport oriented coupe that is cheaper, more agile, and overall masterpiece compared to its shitty brother

I highly doubt that

According to EVO and other reviews it is.
It looks more luxurious but M3/M4 quality is better

>cloth seats standard
And initial impressions don't change the fact that BMW interiors fall apart while Mercedes interiors hold up really well over decades

EVO is UK's equivalent of MotorTrend. They don't give everything a fair shake and there's a disturbing amount of shill articles.

this is bs...

I actually had an M3 CP and I was pretty disappointing in it.

It was unnecessarily stiff on anything but a perfect road, terrible road noise and no traction cause the huge wheels.

idk it was fun but just too tiring for a car without excellent track performance (ala gt3 for example)

Why do large wheels give you worse traction?

no sidewall=spin city

take a trip to your local 1/4 track if the bus route goes that far

No need to be a dick about it

>cheaper

Only MSRP bud, good luck finding one that isn't 35k over sticker.

its still cheaper than the M4, the M2 will never be near 110k MSRP level like the M4
