You can make a test account right now to get a feel of things, maybe read the story (completing first 5 story chapters gives you an effective free roll each), get a good reroll rhythm going in making accounts. You'll save time when legfest actually starts.

You could also check how to complete the pinboard missions as fast as possible. While it's probably too timeconsuming to try the pinboard missions on each reroll account, the fourth pinboard gives a guaranteed random ssr. Which can make or break the account.

I feel like you'd still be better off just using iliad instead.

So, this run of the Celestial Beasts, I got a 4* fire katana. I already have a 4* earth claw. I don't have anywhere near functional wind or water teams and don't plan to start them soon, so I'm going to pick up the honor dagger next.
